  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP. Managers, please ping the opposing team's pingable role to inform them.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, but they also contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.

SV Mono: Tarre25 vs Crash; Old man crashy gonna get sent back to the nursing home. if crashy ain’t in old gens and doesn’t have a builder it’s safe to bet against him.Also I can’t bet against my own team, lmao! :worrywhirl: :worrywhirl::worrywhirl:

SV Mono: MemphisDepay vs RoyalReloaded; Memphis is imo, one of the best and most underrated players in SV right now. Had a great showing in MWP, as well as individuals. Has crazy good instincts and always comes to play. This one’s a no brainer. :psygrump:

SV Mono: Rio Vidal vs Rinda; Monotype Tier Leader, Rio Vidal has taken too many big losses recently (Circuit Playoffs/MWP finals) and he’s hungry for blood. Rinda’s a good player, but if Rio comes out the gate ready to play, I’d bet on him. Also Rinda brought an Electivire to MWP Finals…at least Rio won’t shoot himself in the foot in the builder. :quagchamppogsire:

SV Mono: Shucklegigas vs Dieu Amphibien; Shucklegigas is a great player, but Dieu is probably top 2 in SV mono currently, and just like his Elo on the ladder, is just way above anyone else. Despite this, he always puts up only average numbers in team tours. Edging Dieu on this one. :wo::woo::woop:

Suzuya predicts are so back ! As I'm doing the first predict of the season, ill take the opportunity to make a quick overview of each team and see how much my perception will evolve week by week.

1- :alakazam: Mindcap Monarchs I do think its the most balanced team of the tournament. Overall thats a very competitive draft with 0 weak slots, only ballers. Their starplayer are Clean / Akzel / Code. Somehow they got one of the best DOU available for 3k, cool for them I guess... I don't know their SS though, I heard they cooked in OUFL and we can assume Jeza and Kustavan trust him due to the LU management. I think they are top contenders for the final 4.
2- :morelull: Morella Morelulls I think this is the best team in the tour and I do think its not even close. I wonder if this team could be better with some more slots optimization, I'll leave that work to Mada. As for now I think almost each starter are top half of their pools. MDB2 / Mada / Niko in a single team is def something we can't ignore. Theres still a question mark for monotype and the 2 other SV slots. Ill probably finish with the fact unless there is an intern drama or smth the team should make playoff with ease.
3- :lunala: Demon Slayer Corps It might be an hot take to put this team higher than some other but I think they'll approve my ranking in some week. How could I not start with their SV, what a group they got. def the best core of the pool. Their old gen is also p stacked with SPL caliber players in each slot. However we can see some wildcards in the LU, will remnonc find his prime back after the circuit ? whats the ceilling tarre could reach in this pool ? will their DOU bet will pay off ? I guess the answers to this question will define the rest of their tour.

4- :fidough: Pillsbury Fidough Boys They could easily be higher but I had to make choices and put a team in this ungrateful 4th place. They got insane old gen OU core starting with Ruffles/Kyo/Lacks. These players are on a hot streak recently and I expect them to carry the team right to the very top. They also got insane lower tier core with the prince of ubers himself + the LC tier leader Envy + greatest monotype ladder player oat Dieu Amphibien. I can't physically put them in the big 3 cuz of the lack of experience of their SV slot, beside the fact Originality is a top prospect in both SV and SS, I don't think he's yet able to push this core in higher spheres compared to other players we see just above. I think they'll be part of the playoff race and they'll manage to get in at the very last second.
5- :ponyta: Anna Pepe Ponytas I think this might be my greatest mistake in this "PRs". The most successful teamballo firm came back with an interesting proposition. Their star players are Baddy / LpZ and... that's it ? They got other great soldier such as Rinda, Zinnias who made top 4 of last indiv with a decent showing, Metallica, who's def the most helpful mate to have in a tournament. I think this team could be ranked higher but as for now I do think team lacks "firepower" which could rise this team to the top.

6-:skeledirge: Skeletan Skeledirges French jerk. I think I don't have to say much more than this. It could be the greatest team oat or the worst team in teamballo history. I chose my side already, I really hope they win their week 1 cuz I have the intuition it will define their tournament as a whole. I'm not sure the synergy is optimal between players, I really hope they prove me wrong cuz the potential is def there.
7- :seadra: Salerno Seadras MOMAZOOOOOOOOOOS. i really would like to get an invite to that server surely they'll be out by week 5. they won't win shit but they will have fun thats for sure.
