Gen 8 Random Battle: Zap vs teresbahji > Teres going 0-3 would be weird but there is a real chance this happens. Unless Zap is still buried under the snow, which would not be ideal for him

Gen 6 Random Battle: JustOut459 vs Xceloh > Before Justin rose to his current status of best Gen 6 player in rands, that title was probably for Xceloh. Hype match, two very good players in this

Gen 9 Random Doubles: marcofiero vs ionnss > Maybe THE match of the week. The duck is on an ELEVEN series win streak in Rbtt but Marco is in good form, he might be out for revenge after last year and, most importantly, he seems to have finally fixed his hair. Very high expectations for this!

Gen 9 Random Battle: lichess vs zS > Both players rebounded after their W1 loss. We can talk about specular backgrounds in terms of success and being accustomed to rands/OU. I am especially curious to see how zS continues his adaptation to Gen 9 Rands also because we might need him for Wcor

Gen 9 Random Battle: Impeckable vs aim > My GOAT vs the GOAT of 460k people. I am really happy to see Joey in a rands tour and I hope he'll have fun even if the matches can be wacky. I am even happier to see my friend Impidimp come back from his hiatus to show that he still got it :D

Gen 6 Random Battle: Vioz vs Tom Bus > I think this can be a fairly balanced match. Vioz played well vs Mich in the circuit but you can tell he still needs to sort out something to ascend to the next level. Plop might be reaching "unc" status but he is new to rbtt and I know he really wants to perform well. Very even match (like most of those we'll see in 6)

Gen 4 Random Battle: Click>Think vs O1V7O2X9O > Battle of extreme cold vs extreme heat. I want to point out that Click has a bad track record against wifi passwords teehee

Gen 2 Random Battle: LoSconosciuto vs Kurt Kappa > Losco, a man who notoriously dislikes playing without timer, faces Kurt, a man who notoriously dislikes keeping his timer full after three turns

Gen 9 Random Doubles: Karthik vs Idyll > I would like to see the battle chat for this

Gen 9 Random Battle (Bo5): GXE vs Referrals > Definitely the weekly highlight match in 9 bo5 for me, those two are some of the best players we have on the ladder. Ref's skill has not yet translated to great results in Rbtt but he did stop GXE in playoffs two years ago, so let's see...

Gen 9 Random Battle: Icemaster vs paysa > paysa better win or he loses his spot on Team UK

Gen 8 Random Battle: mj vs Master Chief > mj's mini accident with Eiscue last week solidifies his role as the best Gen 8 player to my eyes because screw the worse penguin!

Gen 7 Random Battle: Hacker vs Hairoll > Aka the HA-HA battle

Gen 3 Random Battle: Glop vs MasterJ007 > Battle between two of the biggest ****posters I have ever seen. Master has exceeded my expectations in 3 so far, while Glop might be getting back to his past peak

Gen 1 Random Battle: royzin vs virae > Both are very capable players so the hope is to see an entertaining series

Gen 9 Random Doubles: FedeCampoVGC vs FreyaknightVGC > Assuming Fede has not gone broke at the Birmingham's casinò and safely returned home, this match is very very promising. Freya is confirming the good results from last year and he'll be super excited to face Fede, who probably needs a little more time to play his best even in randdubs but whose talent is undeniable. It's also the battle of two italian VGC players whose nicknames start with F and are made of two words (this is one of the most pointless trivia I ever mentioned, I know, I know)

Random Roulette: R1C3M4N vs MichaelderBeste2 > Riceman got close to beat Michael in various matches and this is probably the best level we have seen him reach in rands. Michael needs no introduction and he is 2-0 like his opponent. I would be curious to see them play a good mix of old, semi-old and modern gens so hopefully this goes to 3

Gen 9 Random Battle: Fragments vs Aquaa > Battle between two guys who have been in rands for many years. I rate Aqua a tad more but Frag is more accustomed to tours, so it should be a balanced contest

Gen 8 Random Battle: drowsy69 vs yonmd > Both were on team Asia this year and it's safe to say it's like a battle between new and old, even if yonmd is still a kid. Drowsy has learned and improved a ton in Gen 8 this year, but I think yonmd has higher peaks but he is not as used to rands as he used to be, especially when it comes to 8

Gen 5 Random Battle: jyusaan vs Dj Breloominati♬ > Spitfire is the best Gen 5 player in the pool but Jyusaan has adapted well to this gen ever since last year on team Ho-Oh. He is also lucky and bad, let's be honest

Gen 3 Random Battle: drifttrick vs lax > Drifttrick is probably the best Gen 3 rands player right now. His opponent? One of the best tier players of all time! Should be a lot of fun...

Gen 1 Random Battle: GirlsSeeGhosts vs Lady Writer > Battle of two people who are not girls despite the nickname smh. LW is slightly favored but GSG is showing that the Wcor run was not a fluke

Gen 9 Hackmons Cup: platinumCheesecake vs BoRida > I still think Boris in HC is a fever dream but if he likes it and he genuinely plays it then sure, why not? In this peculiar contrast of styles and experience, he is playing Mr. Hackmons himself. If Boris never read Platty's guide before, maybe this is the right time to do so...
