Torterra @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Overgrow
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shell Smash
- Headlong Rush
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Blast

Smashing its way into the RU scene, Torterra is a terrifying setup threat that can utilise its solid bulk and unique offensive typing to break through common RU defensive cores. Headlong Rush allows Torterra to pick up OHKO's against Registeel and Shuca Berry Empoleon which might otherwise live a hit and do large damage to it. Bullet Seed is a great STAB option that with Loaded Dice, can OHKO walls such as Slowbro and Suicune while breaking through Disguise from Mimikyu. Rock Blast can hit pesky Flying-types such as Noivern and Talonflame that could otherwise take a hit. Tera Fire allows Torterra to ignore Burn from Talonflame and Entei, while also resisting the Fire-type attacks of Armarouge and the aformentioned Entei. Torterra is a great fit for hyper offense and offense teams, as it can provide them with a crucial Ground resistance while being a dangerous wallbreaker. Due to Torterra's low speed, it can struggle to deal with common Choice Scarfers like Mienshao and Gengar, so Sticky Web Ribombee is a great partner to fix that issue. Opposing Grass-types such as Chesnaught, Amoonguss, and Breloom are annoying for Torterra, so Pokemon such as Armarouge, Mew, and Gengar that can abuse these Pokemon are heavily appreciated.

Opposing Grass-types such as Chesnaught, Amoonguss, and Breloom are annoying for Torterra, so Pokemon such as Armarouge, Mew, and Bisharp I feel like there are better options than Bisharp like Porygon-Z or Gengar (or maybe Flamigo) that can abuse these Pokemon are heavily appreciated.
