[SET COMMENTS]
Skarmory is a prolific defensive Pokemon; it's able to switch into and threaten out many common physical attackers like Zacian-C, Ogerpon-W, and both Urshifu Formes. It also has access to entry hazards and can deal with the tier's common spinners. Iron Defense lets Skarmory match the boosts from setup sweepers like Roaring Moon and Calyrex-I while also boosting Body Press, potentially turning it into a late-game sweeper. Brave Bird can be run to more instantly threaten Ogerpon and Great Tusk. With Brave Bird, you should run Whirlwind instead of Iron Defense, as it helps Skarmory wear down foes with hazards while still hindering setup sweepers. Should the team not have a Stealth Rock setter, or have another Spikes setter, like Hisuian Samurott or Meowscarada, Skarmory can run Stealth Rock instead. Tera Fairy is used as it's a good defensive type that doesn't overlap with any of Skarmory's weaknesses, letting it handle attackers like Cinderace or Zekrom that would otherwise have a type advantage over it. Tera Ghost is an alternative that lets Skarmory spinblock Great Tusk and Iron Treads to keep hazards up while making it more resilient against Fighting-types like Zamazenta. However, the Dark-type weakness does hurt, especially against Urshifu-S and Weavile. Tera Dragon is an alternative that can make Skarmory into a better Ogerpon-W answer, but does come with a worse matchup into Zacian-C and Calyrex-I, making it more situational.

Skarmory appreciates an HP donation from almost any God. However, it does tend to fit better on bulkier teams, so Gods like Arceus and Ho-Oh are great fits. Teammates with Knock Off like Weavile, Clefable, and Great Tusk rid the opponent of their Heavy-Duty Boots, allowing Skarmory to rack up chip damage with Whirlwind and entry hazards. The latter two also provide Stealth Rock to complement Skarmory's Spikes. Ghost-types like Arceus-Ghost, Pecharunt, and Gholdengo can spinblock for Skarmory to allow it to keep entry hazards up; the latter also blocks Defog thanks to Good As Gold. Lastly, strong special attackers like Kyogre, Hisuian Electrode, and Gholdengo can use Skarmory as a relatively free entry point, so pairing it up with a specially defensive Pokemon like Eternatus, Ting-Lu, or Dondozo makes for a very solid defensive core.

Skarmory is a prolific defensive Pokemon, its able to swap into and threaten out many common physical attackers like Zacian-C, Urshifu, and Ogerpon-W. It is also has access to hazards and is able to handle most hazard control options in the tier. Iron Defense lets Skarmory match the boosts from set up sweepers like Roaring Moon or Calyrex-I to counteract them, while also boosting Body Press, potentially turning it into a late game sweeper. Brave Bird can be ran to more instantly threaten Ogerpon. With Brave Bird, you should run Whirlwind instead of Iron Defense, as it helps Skarmory wear down foes with hazard chip instead of IronPress damage, while still hindering set up sweepers. Tera Fairy is used as its a good defensive type that doesnt overlap with any of Skarmory's weaknesses, letting it handle attackers like Cinderace or Zekrom that have the type advantage over it. Tera Ghost is an alternative that lets Skarmory spin block Great Tusk and Iron Treads to keep its hazards up, while making it more resilient into Fighting-types like Zamazenta. However, weak to dark does hurt, especially against Urshifu and Weavile.

Skarmory appreciates a HP donation from almost any God. However, it does tend to fit better on bulkier teams, so Gods that usually find themselves on those sorts of teams like Arceus and Ho-Oh are naturally great. Knock Off support is greatly beneficial due to Skarmory's focus on hazards, so teammates like Weavile, Clefable and Great Tusk that commonly run it are great teammates, the latter two also provide Stealth Rock to complement Skarmory's Spikes. I mean rocks are slashed on the set, should prolly be mentioned at some point, especially since you're focusing on spikes here completely; ; also, maybe include smthing spinblock b/c hazards are very important to why use skarm Strong special attackers like Eternatus, Electrode-H and Gholdengo can use Skarmory as a relatively free entry point, so pairing it up with specially defensive Pokemon like Ting-Lu, Ho-Oh or Dondozo make for a very solid defensive core. idk but mentioning helec and then saying 3 spdef mons that cant switch into helec

Skarmory is a prolific defensive Pokemon, it's able to swap into and threaten out many common physical attackers like Zacian-C, Urshifu, and Ogerpon-W. It also has access to entry hazards and can deal with most hazard control options in the tier I would specify spinners here rather than generalized hazard control as it can struggle against Defoggers and even Hatterene since it can't Whirlwind it out. Iron Defense lets Skarmory match the boosts from set-up sweepers like Roaring Moon or Calyrex-I to counteract them, while also boosting Body Press, potentially turning it into a late-game sweeper. Brave Bird can be run to more instantly threaten Ogerpon and Great Tusk. With Brave Bird, you should run Whirlwind instead of Iron Defense, as it helps Skarmory wear down foes with hazard chip instead of IronPress damage, while still hindering set up sweepers. Should the team not have a Stealth Rock setter, or have another Spikes setter like Samurott-H or Meowscarada, Skarmory can run Stealth Rock instead. Tera Fairy is used as it's a good defensive type that doesn't overlap with any of Skarmory's weaknesses, letting it handle attackers like Cinderace or Zekrom that have the type advantage over it I feel like there are probably better examples than Cinderace or Zekrom right? At least Zekrom makes sense as you become immune to 1 STAB and neutral to what was a weakness but Cinderace could still hurt you as Pyro Ball is non-contact. Tera Ghost is an alternative that lets Skarmory spinblock Great Tusk and Iron Treads to keep hazards up, while making it more resilient against Fighting-types like Zamazenta. However, the Dark-type weakness does hurt, especially against Urshifu and Weavile. I really believe that Dragon should be mentioned as it makes you resistant to Woger, the aforementioned Cinderace (and Fire types in general), but does come at the cost of being weaker to Zacian or Calyrex-I

Skarmory appreciates a HP donation from almost any God. However, it does tend to fit better on bulkier teams, so Gods that usually find themselves on those sorts of teams, like Arceus and Ho-Oh, are great fits. Knock Off support is greatly to Skarmory, as it focuses heavily on entry hazards. Teammates with Knock Off like Weavile, Clefable and Great Tusk rid the opponent of their Heavy-Duty Boots, allowing Skarmory to rack up chip damage with Whirlwind and the entry hazard it provides. Tthe latter two also provide Stealth Rock to complement Skarmory's Spikes. Ghost-types like Arceus-Ghost, Pecharunt, and Gholdengo can spinblock for Skarmory to allow it to keep entry hazards up, the latter also blocks Defog thanks to Good As Gold.
