This was such an unlucky battle,
Turn 9:The start of the unlucky, where the omnistar has Clangorusnsoul and the Kee berry.
Turn:11, it baton passed to Kartana, then all the turns afterthat were Kartana sweeping with Behemoth Bash.

The chance of three consecutive critical hits exactly when they're needed to decide a game is insanely low. The Flareon shouldn't've been a threat here, but fate had other plans. I offer my genuine apologies that you experienced this.

This match had a bit of a rough start for me. My opponent had three consecutive critical hits on turn 5, 6 and 7. The first was with a fire blast and was needed to KO. The second was unneeded. The third had me sweating bullets because it gave him a 37.5% chance of OHKO with sludge wave; if he had gone fire blast and hit with a crit I'd have been toast. (One decision which might have been a mistake was sending in poliwrath because I figured it would tera grass. I should have probably sent Hoopa-unbound directly, but hey he used his tera.)

But I just hung on and... got a needed crit in the very end to clinch a victory! So I wouldn't say that it was the worst of luck. :D

wasnt able to land a single hit until turn 8 (2 triple axel + 1 stone edge attempted during that time)

On turn 1 I get a 4 hit rock blast after reading protect. I think to myself “that’s disappointing!” Because of this one 50/50 glaile decided to turn my life into a nightmare. Because I can’t fake out to kill it on turn 2 it goes on to freeze my mightyena on turn 4 and blastoise on turn 5. I do my best to come back from this and get another protect read correct on turn 9. I tera normal on my Maushold and am met with a crisp 2 hit pop bomb which allows Snorlax to survive. I then miss a 95% accurate high horsepower on turn 12 allowing solgaleo to live one more turn. I lose to a 10% hp snorlax.
Pokemon is a cruel game sometimes.

Derpy must have been confident - all they needed was a Matcha Gotcha or two on that damn fish - but after missing four whole times in a row, even getting crit along the way, you can't help but laugh at the sheer odds this loss represented.
