Project Unluckiest Player of the Week (Week 12, see Post #254)

Let's be clear, the winner this time is pretty simple.

The chance of three consecutive critical hits exactly when they're needed to decide a game is insanely low. The Flareon shouldn't've been a threat here, but fate had other plans. I offer my genuine apologies that you experienced this.

Honorable mentions go to TSM-Virgil's double freeze replay. It doesn't win the week, but it's still a strong entry.

This match had a bit of a rough start for me. My opponent had three consecutive critical hits on turn 5, 6 and 7. The first was with a fire blast and was needed to KO. The second was unneeded. The third had me sweating bullets because it gave him a 37.5% chance of OHKO with sludge wave; if he had gone fire blast and hit with a crit I'd have been toast. (One decision which might have been a mistake was sending in poliwrath because I figured it would tera grass. I should have probably sent Hoopa-unbound directly, but hey he used his tera.)

But I just hung on and... got a needed crit in the very end to clinch a victory! So I wouldn't say that it was the worst of luck. :D

Jirachi doing jirachi things. turn 7 flinch. turn 8 crit on my switch into para on turn 9. flinch on turn 10. and para on turn 11 for a death on turn 12 cause i can't roost.
that was just a little taste. now the good stuff.
Turn 21 i miss sleep powder leading to my mon dying on turn 22
Turn 23 i get crit
Turn 24 i get crit it's ok though cause i'm out of range of another aqua jet and i have gunk shot
Turn 25 i get crit and die
Turn 26 i miss stone edge
Turn 27 i miss stone edge leading to my loss on turn 28
