I was long time known as the No 1 cscl glazer as he was the one who literally introduce and let me had fun in this metagame. And for long I was trying to chase after him, to follow his steps, and apparently I failed on that. I am not capable of just looking at the moves and mons and abilities and just come up with a brand new solid set. So this year I decided to give up on that and just use the good old sets. It originally ended up as an outdated bulky offense with pdon and mbro and that sucks. It is not until I remembered I once have faith in HO that I decided to turn back to it. Similar to genshin ho, this team is also somewhat "modified" on another team which is gonna be the smurf ho from bw ou.

So as said in the team name, this team is a homage to the smurf ho in gen 5 ou. The idea is to build an ho not involving the common structure kind of thing, which is gonna be weather in bwou, and for here I don’t really know how to describe that, but its not the common things. This team, despite as an HO in usm pure hackmons, is actually requiring a lot on the player's piloting and scouting skills. There are a lot of mind games and risk control/analysis involved, and in exchange you hardly have unwinnable mus. Let me introduce the members one by one.

Garchomp (Deoxys-Speed) @ Focus Sash
Ability: No Guard

Next one here is deos. Deos is the very classic no guard user but most people use it wrong. It’s far more than just a suiside lead, to be fair maero is better purely as a lead than it, but the thing for it is it’s speed tier. Outspeeding absolutely every thing in the metagame with no guard sing+sheercold+gastro acid combo means it can 1v1 most of the things in the metagame. You can still lead it for sure, as we have the backup counter plan for things that can beat it: mgar can pressure and possibly just trap gigas and slak, spikes chansey and pursuit slaking can take advantage of pbond mgar, wg kartana can solve random scarf beatup. Do not sac it when you don’t need to. I give it garchomp as it’s quite literally doing what garchomp was doing which is being a lead and end game cleaner.

So first one here is our mgar. I get the idea actually, from gen 8 dlc1 natdex ag although mgar sucks iirc. I wasn’t good at the meta, but some random youtubers just keep spamming such videos and I was like why not bring this to pure hackmons? Gengar is with actually good defensive utilities, being immune to fake and speed as well as , and encore + setup can further utilize this to it’s full potential. This can come in and setup on a lot of the wgs as well, and with +6 and shell smash it’s gonna be a scary sweeper. I let it take the spot of volcarona as it’s similar to volc where a wrong play can lead to instant sweep. +6 photon have a good chance to ohko maud after rock, and sure ohko on a brand new slak. Can’t sweep before meloetta is pursuited by slaking but anyways youre able to take a free slak out once you caught them.

Here is our final late game sweeper, being the only wg in the game it should be the one with the most defensive utility. You do wanna keep its hp to make sure some scarf impostor don’t just run over you with sunsteel. This is pretty good into offense, look out for the potential innards outs, and if you are sure you can bring up a sweep, you can force them to use their innards on mmx, and you will want to immediately get it set up, as you would be losing a big part of the game-saving mons. I gave it dragonite tho its not really as easy to set up, maybe I’ll consider swapping its name with mgar.

Power boosting item mmx is really underrated. Life orb with ada can let mach punch OHKO arc as well as kartana after defense drop, or even lopunny when it loses sash. Shadow sneak allow you to OHKO mgar after rock or with defense drop, first impression provides a lot of notable calcs, such as ohkoing opposing mmx with -1 defense. On top of that band shadow sneak make sure you can ohko mgar from full as well as mmy with defense drop, while band mach punch can provide you a OHKO on kartana without setup. Band photon geyser is just a big nuke, and band first impression can OHKO a +2 def mmy, which might be other wise annoying. Frequently do calcs through out the game you might get other interesting things.

Bold Nature

This is the thing that's gonna hold your back when ever you are in actual danger, as well as the primal special wall of the team. Metal Burst so you punish the special attackers as well as Magic guard pursuit users. Everything is pretty stright forward, the only problem is it's not as offensive as starmie.

Scizor (Slaking/Regigigas) @ Silk Scarf / Darknium Z
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Extreme Speed
- Pursuit
- Parting Shot / Sunsteel Strike

This is pretty straight forward rkiller, with pshot to remain momentum and sunsteel to make you not completely walled by wgs. Taking the spot for scizor for its physical bulk and strong priority. Silk scarf help you with some after-chip calc, switch to darknium z if you want better mu against bo teams. If you are actually too annoyed by the stupid special attackers or swave pbond mgar switch to gigas

I will come up with usage tip and replays later, mabye I'll get it to the top before the ladder ends.

So this team will be actually rather hard to pilot compared to my previous ones which are mainly unimproofed setup spam. This should have been a pretty useful anti offense tool tho. On the usage tip part the only thing I can say is to play safe when you can and try to find the best play, as you have only one chansey to possibly make up your blunder. This team might be easier for people with rather common meta experience instead of usm pure hackmons players to get started on. I blundered too many times laddering so I dont know.

yay I got rmt of the month for 26 feb so trailer here, more smurfs is coming just like what happened to oringal smurf :psysly:
