Inner Focus can be used to stop Incineroar from slowing it down, while Multiscale can make it difficult to remove, letting it get a key Scale Shot off.

* Dragonite is common on teams with partners that make it even harder to remove, especially if it has Multiscale, such as Ting-Lu's Vessel of Ruin weakening foes like Flutter Mane and Raging Bolt, or Sinistcha's Hospitality healing it back to full HP and reactivating Multiscale. Partners that struggle into Incineroar, such as Chien-Pao and Gouging Fire, appreciate Dragonite blocking Intimidate with Inner Focus and threatening it with damage.

* Scale Shot is Dragonite's strongest Dragon-type attack without risking locking into Outrage. Iron Head can threaten an OHKO on opposing Fairy-types like Flutter Mane and deal large damage to Tera Fairy Raging Bolt after Scale Shot pressures it to Terastallize. Extreme Speed can pick off low-HP targets and beat out other priority moves like Sucker Punch and Thunderclap.

* With a +1 Speed boost, Dragonite will outspeed most of the unboosted metagame, allowing it to be Adamant to improve damage rolls. I suggest going into a bit more detail about why Dragonite appreciates being at +1 Speed, you could mention anything vital it outspeeds and KOes and while niche but could be worth mentioning, the handy Iron Head flinch chance Adamant nature is necessary for OHKOs into bulky Raging Bolt, and a Chien-Pao on the field can improve damage rolls even further with Sword of Ruin.

* Tera Steel turns Dragonite’s weaknesses into Dragon-, Fairy-, and Ice-type moves into resistances, helping against Draco Meteor from Raging Bolt, Moonblast from Flutter Mane, and Icicle Crash from Chien-Pao.
