Yoyo it's that time of year again, Smogon's been invited to champs season 13.
What's Mafia Champs?
Mafia champs is an inter-community tournament hosted on Mafia Universe each year, and pretty much the biggest mafia event out there. I've done it a couple times and think it's a great time -- you compete with the best of the best, but particularly in qualifiers there's still some more casual players so it's still a good time. If you qualify and get into semis though, be in for a proper competitive game.

What's the setup this year?
Mafia champs often goes for more pared back, vanilla setups. This year for qualifiers we have a matrix, but for semis it will be full mountainous (aka everyone's a vanilla or mafia goon) and the setup for finals is TBD but likely to be mountainous as well if semis is.

We've done a few matrixes ourselves recently, so hopefully this makes sense to everyone.
OK so who gets sent?
We'll put nominations up for a week, and then vote between anyone who's nominated.
Please feel free to nominate yourself if you'd like to do this, or nominate someone else if you think they'd be good. In order to get on the poll, someone who's nominated by somebody else will need to confirm they'd like to participate.
To nominate someone just post in this thread who you're nominating.
The vote will likely take a week too -- our deadline to sub our rep is March 4th so we have a month, but there's pre-season scheduling etc. that happens and it's always good to have time to prepare as well.
First place in the vote will be our main rep, while second place will be our sub.
I'm repping my old dead community (PokéBeach) this year which is uh how I remembered it's happening, either Tommy got the invite instead of me or I checked with ara whether the invite was sent to Tommy and got us invited again by checking. Not sure! But you can't nominate me this year, anyway
