ok I'll ignore the message count thing and I'm getting a switch 2 today so if I was inactive before it's prob only gonna get worse
so lets win
A) idk why we didn't vote out genisu all the roles are useless and if aska thought dying but getting a good ability after death meets the brief for "why is my role so bad" I think he would be mistaken in thinking this IMO. there's a decent shot genisu's town, but voting him out D1 is
always optimal. That's why millers suck. B) so whoever switched up momentum away from voting out genisu should be under suspicion, categorically a scummy move. idk who that was I was afk, but y'all do!C) especially Alice because I told her in DMs how and why voting out genisu is always optimal and she agreed, before lowk pushing the no voteD) we need some kind of info centralisation. I don't wanna do it lmao, but someone has toE) no one's messaging me ):
"No one is messaging me" I'm not a person now
Also your history is comically wrong isn't it, it was after the fact not before
Celever is just scum or trying too hard to look like scum because of likely no protection against night kills
But the two lies and saying "you guys need to do this, I wont do anything though I will be inactive" is weird at best
oh ok good confirmation
ye I'm voting Alice
idk why you'd omgus there as town lol
no one besides you've messaged me I mentioned we chatted in the same wall
but others should still be talking )))):
obv me not being active is bad no one's critiquing that
but that doesn't make me incapable of now contributing right
town Alice has no reason to try and shut down me now being active
I think this is the important disc stuff, first of all, Celever is being weirdly aggressive on the jalmont situation while in the first place he didnt place a vote and being highly inactive D1, apparently he was active on Alice's DMs but somehow didnt manage to place a vote? This is highly inconsistent.
Second of all, I dont feel like placing a vote on either of them, as I've said in the games before. I am not placing a vote on anyone active during the first days. Activity means conversation, and conversation means scum outing themselves. Although Celever saying that he is going to be inactive afterwards is something I dont like, but considering that he's making conversation today I can pass that up.
And thirdly, Yes. I dont like the policy vote being negated by a no vote, which I always consider worse than a missvote. If you vote out someone, there's chances that they could be scum, no matter who. By No Voting you're giving tempo to scum and not allowing the game to continue. This is also something I've said in past games.
I'm making this post to start more discussion, but:
Strong Townreads:
Peum: Has been pretty aggro and solvey in the chat, he doesn't feel any different from his previous games and that paranoia about being night killed checks out with previous meta even though I find that behaviour quite scummy in vacuum.
Pulsar: She seems fed up w/ her role but also pubclaiming pulsar checks out with previous town history.
Medium Townreads:
Celever: I did say he was scum previously for being inactive but I dunno if I'd see scum!Celever picking a fight with Alice here when the activity this game has been pretty dead.
Diego: Vibes I guess. I would have to reread him in the server but he's responded to Peum's stuff well and sounded reasonable and active so far.
Alice: I'm not sure if scum!Alice messages a lot of people in the game to mole someone? Especially with roles being so weak here? This is the weakest townread in this group although I will say(wrt Celever's case on Alice) that idt Alice agreeing with his logic for voting genisu and then voting no vote necessarily implies her being scum.
Scum Pool:
AirC: I think airC feels very passive and only comes into discussion to defend people and then vanishes. While I think airC is a passive player in general I think he's feeling very similar to the previous 2 games that he's been scum in. And I don't mind the risk of this being a misvote here because he isn't going to get any better.
DbD: I feel less confident about this because idt DbD has made sense to me as any alignment but asking people in the server to pubclaim and then dip is a bad look and worth a vote.
zorbees: He said that because of how bad the roles are, that this game was better off playing with reads, but I haven't really seen him make any effort towards the game in general, be it a direction for oc centralisation of info or noc reads-based play. And he's too proactive of a person for me to believe that his best idea for the game is to play passively.
Other people that come to mind are jalmont, ag and genisue but I'm gonna brb in 20 min.
I'll make a reads post later to respond to this
Yeah so I usually give jalmont a pass for not being active during the first few phases because he usually pulls up later if he's town, but I do think this is a very good situation for him if he's mafia so I'm not sure about it this time.
I think genisu claiming miller is townie on principle but town genisu is much more excited and active to at least make reads so the lack of that is ??? to me.
ag hasn't posted much but he reacted to peum claiming to be a role related to rolenames as "you know you aren't the only role that interacts with role names right?" which makes me think that's more likely to come from town? I can't think of why mafia would do this. I guess scum!ag tries to do this to discredit a possible town leadership centered around peum from forming but, hm. Well at least I can safely say that peum and ag can't be on the scumteam together here. I had a good impression off of that interaction but I'm unsure if that's solid.
Vote: airC
I've said before that genisu is unreadable, I dont think he has a consistent townmeta, but scumgenisu leans more to inactivity to avoid being crossed off as scum
Jalmont said two games ago that he would "be inactive" for the next games. I think that's what he's doing right now, not that I like it, and as far as im concerned, he should also be a policy vote right now, due to him being highly inactive the first days and appearing today to vote Alice and not say anything else. In fact im leaning more on voting Jalmont today.
I dont have a lot of reads on AG right now due to inactivity.
I've already said what I feel like about AirC and nothing has changed much since then, some conversation in my dms has also told me that he's playing very weird.
Oh I remember talking to
Peum about Sijih and him jumping to conclusions all the time. I just ISO'd him in the server and it feels like a lot of mech spec and "idk what to do with genisu" which feels a lot like mafia trying to drive a narrative to vote the miller without actually pointing fingers at him. HMMM that does looks scummy to me, do you wanna vote Sijih with me, Peum?
liquidrelief, going by past meta, seems inactive, a plausible votebait, and I would not vote him here.
I remember posting in the server earlier and feeling ShyPebble posted stuff as like, a reaction to people noticing that they hadn't said much. So I feel a little sus of that. But in the convo w/ peum I remember him saying that SP was throwing a lot of reads and speculations out there, but I think that's normal SP meta. I think they like to shoot wide and then narrow down their conclusions from there. I don't very strongly about SP but I wouldn't say I'm sus of them atm.
I have 0 thoughts on vishy fishy. Anyone help me out here?
I dont think a Sijih vote is good today, they've been fairly active since then although their talking hasnt brought up much discussion.
I have asked liquid like 3 times to be active and he hasnt, so he might become a policy vote soon enough.
Pebble is one of my strongest townreads right now due to events that have happened in my dms
Vishy feels very passive right now, I feel like they tried to generate conversation more last game, maybe second game syndrome I guess.
##Vote: Jalmont
