Honestly, this was fun. My major gripe of this is that there wasn't a playoffs stage. This meant if you lost a match, it made it feel like there wasn't really a point to continue (luckily I lost in the second last round so wasnt as much of an issue). This might have partially been why lots of people dropped out, though theres prob other reasons that are in conjunction. I think maybe next time, make it 5 weeks with top 8 going into playoffs maybe (could even do the extra formats in playoffs), which while it would extend the tourney for 2 weeks, it would be much fairer. Also could have potentially banned more things (think stuff like goodra in full potential was a tad too dumb), but that wasn't a large issue.

B: Alphabet Cup, Mix and Mega

D: Full Potential
(yes full potential was that bad, it has a whole tier between it and the next one)

Also had fun. I like swiss tours bc i like playing 5 weeks. My ranking is probably aaa rev alpha camo > fp mnm, think the ones that changed the least encouraged creativity the most. fully expected stabmons at some point but i guess alpha is the same thing in a different flavor. what would have been really goofy is chimera 1v1

I'd like to echo a lot of what Heatranator said above. The concept of the tour was amazing, and I had so much fun being completely lost in each new format, but unlike Heatranator, I had a terrible start (skill issue), and so I experienced the opposite end of the tour: going from 0-3 (all 3 games played) to 3-3 (3 given wins).

I know you guys have mentioned the possibility of doing a team tour around these formats. I think this would be a great idea, and would incentivise more players to actually play their games even if their personal records are a little doodoo. I'd love to help with hosting such a tour if you guys decide to go ahead with it :)

yeah I used boring heatranator teams instead of building something fun like I usually do, I'm not proud of it

as for my thoughts on the tour, I really did enjoy it. Losing once and not getting to play for a playoff is unfortunate but I understand why we did it the way we did, I would totally continue to participate in these in the future
 
Lost pretty hard ngl but I wanted to still share the teams! I should have flipped the order here would have had much better matchups. First team is super scald weak and i loaded into reg vapo, second team is a gimmick and I loaded into pert keys + normal so it was hard for my band mons to click. Is what it is though and I had fun! lol

I liked the idea of this tour, but after the first week a lot of dudes bailed out and weren't bothered playing, which is unfortunate. Frankly, I can't blame them. I don't think I would have tried if I went 0-2 tbh so I really don't think a play-offs stage would help - aside from making the 3-1s try a little harder. Some more bans for the formats could work but there's too many variables with these type of things. Full potential for e.g. could be fixed with as little as 2 bans and as many as 30 and we would never truly know (fun fact: dusclops is still legal in FP).

Here's my rankings of the formats from a builder pov:
S: AAA
A: Revelationmons (grew on me ngl), Camomons
B:
C: Mix and Mega, Full Potential

I didn't build anything for Alphabet Cup. Full potential is fun building but it's too whacky to play with.

Would really love to mess around with Twisted Dimensions, STABmons, Shared Power, VoltTurn Mayhem, Flipped, Inverse, Pokebilities, Trademarked, and even Triples and Partners in Crime if we ever happen to do a part 2.
