Brute Bonnet @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Protosynthesis
Level: 50
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Atk / 172 SpD
Careful Nature
- Spore
- Rage Powder
- Crunch / Seed Bomb
- Sucker Punch

Brute Bonnet is the premier redirection Pokemon in Regulation F, able to abuse its offensive pressure in conjunction with the threat of Spore to control the board. Crunch and Sucker Punch are great tools for Brute Bonnet; the former notably target down Sinistcha while the latter allows Brute Bonnet to pressure low-HP foes. Alternatively, Brute Bonnet can use Seed Bomb to better hit Iron Bundle and Ursaluna-B. Tera Poison grants resistances to the omnipresent Okidogi and Iron Hands, allowing Brute Bonnet to more easily put them to sleep or redirect attacks. The given EV spread allows Brute Bonnet to 2HKO Sinistcha with Crunch and survive Tera Normal Life Orb Blood Moon from Ursaluna-B. Despite this massive investment into Special Defense, Brute Bonnet can still easily fall to a powered-up Ursaluna-B, as well as common foes like the aforementioned Fighting-types and Heatran; Okidogi is a great partner for Brute Bonnet because of this, hitting Ursaluna-B, Heatran, and opposing Fighting-types hard with Drain Punch, High Horsepower, and Psychic Fangs, respectively. Brute Bonnet is also shut down by common Safety Goggles users such as Thundurus, which can also Taunt a Terastallized Brute Bonnet. Iron Hands is able to ignore Taunt from Thundurus, eat its attacks, and fire back with Wild Charge. See Brute Bonnet in action in the replay below!

would like a bit more info about its place in the metagame specifically, i.e. enabling setup, disrupting attackers like bloodmoon & hands, the type of teams it fits on. Bonnet does a lot in the builder asw, for example it essentially forces Thundurus to run goggles.

Brute Bonnet is a force to be reckoned with in 4v4 Doubles UU! (i'm not hooked) With the ability to put foes to sleep with Spore, Brute Bonnet is able to always put pressure on the opponent and forces foes to respect it. Aside from putting foes to sleep and providing safe entry points and set up turns for allies such as Galarian Moltres, Brute Bonnet can also redirect powerful attacks from foes such as Ursaluna-B and Serperior with the use of Rage Powder. (this can be cut down a lot. feel free to adjust the wording but something more like "Brute Bonnet is the premier redirection option in Regulation F, able to take advantage of its offensive pressure in conjunction with Spore to support its teammates...") Crunch and Sucker Punch round out Brute Bonnet's movepool, notably targeting down Sinistcha while allowing Brute Bonnet to pressure low-HP foes with Sucker Punch. Despite this massive investment into Special Defense, Brute Bonnet can still easily fall to a powered-up Ursaluna-B, as well as common foes like the aforementioned Fighting-types and Heatran. (use this sentence to tie-in some good partners that help bonnet handle these threats) Brute Bonnet is also shut down by Taunt from foes such as Talonflame.(this feels a bit too specific, i'd prefer something a little more broad— maybe expand the scope of taunt users or address common goggles mons/spore immunes) Allies like Iron Hands and Okidogi that appreciate Brute Bonnet's ability to redirect Ground-type attacks can help take on foes such as Ursaluna-B and Heatran and even opposing Fighting-types. (these are not good examples)
lmk when it's ready for recheck

Iron Hands is able to ignore Taunt from Thundurus, eat its attacks, and fire back with Ice Punch (not a relevant move w.o lando in the tier) or Wild Charge.
