Tournament 35PL II - Managers Signup

Hello everyone! We are pleased to announce that manager signups for 35PL II are now open. If you would like to manage, please read the following details before signing up.
  • There will be 6 teams and each team will have three managers.
  • Managers are required to participate in the auction to draft their players.
  • Each team will need a minimum of 2 managers. A 3rd manager is optional.
  • Managers will have a budget of 150k. If one manager wants to purchase themself for their team, they can do so for 13.5k. If the second manager also wants to purchase themselves, they'll have to pay 15k (Overall 28.5k).
    • All manager purchases must be sent to the hosts, IncredibleKing, Mozonite, and Murphy Lawden, before the draft, and all of them will be announced in the administrative thread.
    • Up to two managers can be self bought by a team.
  • Each team must draft a minimum of 15 players (10 players + 5 subs) and a maximum of 25 players using 150k credits.
  • Managers must select their lineup for the week and send it to the hosts before the week starts in Smogon DMs including all managers of your team and hosts, IncredibleKing, Mozonite, and Murphy Lawden. Failure to do so would result in hosts picking the lineup for the managers the following week(IncredibleKing will personally make sure to pick your weakest players, he is a meanie).
    • Managers must send their lineup in the format mentioned at the end of this post.
  • Managers are responsible for their team's behavior. Make sure members of your team are abiding by the rules and remain active.
  • Managers are expected to facilitate substitutions when necessary.
Kindle ensure that you will be available for the course of the next 2 months if you wish to serve as manager. Managers will likely be decided within two week.

Why should you be picked? We managed together in NDAMPL and successfully assisted the Slakings in achieving their ultimate victory!! I recently played for the winning DNUPL team, and qbking3 has lots of teamtour experience, so between the two of us we know exactly what it takes to lead a super equally fun and competitive team, for the vibes of course. Oh, and I literally invented this tournament and hosted it for the first two years. So there’s that too but @hosts @tierleaders idk how far that gets us

Why should you be picked?: BenjiTho is an active member in the 35-adjacent 35Perfect community, is currently playing in the SolomodsPL and is a seasoned pokemon player in general, having top cut a vgc tournament all the way back in 2015 and being tier leader for a format known as three musketeers. As for purbaj, he is an insanely skilled manager, with his most notable feat being bringing his team in OUFL to a victory, winning also SS League and managing team Asia in ADVWC and RCoP and his portfolio, honestly, speaks for itself, beinging him to the point where he is currently managing in the highly prestigious ADPL. Gc is the least experienced of the three of us considering manager experience alone, but makes up for it for being an active player and community member in 35pokes, bringing the team the much-needed current day 35pokes knowledge. We believe this trio has what it takes to take the tournament home, and we plan to do our best to make it happen

Why should you be picked?: I am a seasoned manager who has managed in world cup type tournaments for Portugal (World Cup of Randbats, Ubers World Cup, Lower Tier World Cup serve as some examples) and some more standart teamtours, both on smogon (where i can highlight UMFL where me and FishyRoads brought the Luso Phiones to the semifinals before losing to the winner of the tournament and PTSL, which me, together with Frixel and Ulti Bastion, brought the Negro Drampas to a win. I am also managing with TTK in the current NFEOL). I have also in the past been an active figure in 35pokes, so i can activelly support the older tiers and am still entangled with the community. As for purbaj, he is an insanely skilled manager, with his most notable feat being bringing his team in OUFL to a victory, but his portfolio is much deeper and homestly, speaks for itself. Gc is the least experienced of the three of us considering manager experience alone, but makes up for it for being an active player and community member in 35pokes, bringing the team the much-needed current day 35pokes knowledge. Why should you be picked?: Quack and I have been part of the 35 Pokes community for some time now, and we both have had successful tournament runs in the past including a March Retro win, as well as both participating 35PL with Quack being in the winning team in S0. While we are on the newer end of the spectrum with managerial roles, we are not at all new to the tournament experience as we have participated in many storied tournaments in the past such as the World Cup of Pokemon (+ Ubers WC, ADVWC), OUPL, Teamballo, HPL, NDAMPL, and NDFL. We look to bring a new and exciting energy to 35PL alongside our own building, playing and testing experiences in the tiers!

Why should you be picked? Turtle12 and Zetious are current 35 council members and former managers of Krakatoa from season 1 of the 35pokes premiere league. Zetious won the May 2025 monthly 35pokes tour and Turtle12 has won 3 monthly tours. ilikeeatingcrayons was a part of the season 1 Krakatoa team and like Zetious and Turtle12 has experience with this 35pokes team tour. ilikeeatingcrayons would often help out the managers and this time around we want her officially managing with us. Krakatoa's finals run last year demonstrates the manager's ability to get the team to schedule effectively and post lineups in a timely manner, but also our ability to draft, perform mock battles, and train our team to bring out the best in the competitors.

Why should you be picked? Me and Tomo are some of the oldest players still around, him being from February24 and I dating back to September23, but we still are some of the most active and recognizable faces in 35, having consistent good runs on the monthly tournaments, specially Tomo having 3 finals to his name. I was on the winning squad of 35PLS0 with THE WALL and Tomo has experience managing 35 teamtours, beating the big favorites on the Trios tournament. We have metagame knowlogde of basically anything related to this 35Pokes and think we gonna be a good fit as managers.

I Started playing on feb 25 going to the finals of the tour, last 35pl got to the finals of the tour keeping a positive score, played PTPL, PTSL, OUFL (becoming champion), played UMFL, NDFL, NFEOL Guzot started a little ago on the tier, being his first tour with me on the 35 perfect trios and we are on the semifinals, he played ptpl, managed ptsl, played nfepl, UMFL, NDFL, NFEOL We have experience on the tier, and how to manage a team, being very active on discord too to help of our players.

Why should you be picked? while work and school are making it difficult for me to be as active in 35 as I used to be, I have been a pl leader once (took over for someone who dropped) and really was able to make the pl enjoyable for my team. We may not have been the best team lol but we spent hours every week planning strategizing and cooking up some insane sets. If there’s one thing we prioritize is creativity and we plan to have fun while creating a great team environment like last season. (Oh yeah me and mambo are the streamers for all things 35, mambo being the tier leader of the 35 perfect spinoff and me being the leader of the 35 draft league which is on its first test season right now) mambo and shoota are also tourney winners and highly respected players.

Why should you be picked? I was in the last 35PL as a player who managed in spirit in the absence of one of the Managers and I was on top of all of our players and making sure we did prep before matches. I know how to manage groups of people, I'm the creator and current OM Tier Leader for Perfect 35 which is the largest OM in 35 Pokes. One of our best formats is being featured in this Tournament (D1) and I believe my long standing support for 35 Pokes and subsequent investment on an OM should be clear indicator that I'm fitting to manage for 35PL II.

My Co-Manager is one of our top players in both 35 Pokes and Perfect 35, he is a respected member in our community and clearly has investment into our community, he will do great as a co-manager.
