While I haven't used stall very often , I like to try and build around less common pokemon and or sets when I have the opportunity to, and one mon whose design I have always appreciated but I have rarely ever used was :Suicune: . I first looked at it and thought I could use it on a screens HO team as a cm sweeper but that felt like something that most had done. With its unique ability though I felt as if it could actually fit pretty well onto a stall team, and as such I decided that I would build a :Suicune: stall team as I haven't seen that before. That being said this is my attempt at said build.

:Suicune: :

With access to the ability Pressure, and solid bulk this pokemon has the potential to be one of the corner stones of a stall team specifically oriented around pp stalling. To make that happen easier the first two moveslots we're using are taken up by substitute to get free opportunities to pressure stall long term threats like :Primarina: and :Clefable: (it can even pp stall :volcanion: if you get off a calm mind before hand). Next to both be able to scout as well as pp stall better then next move slot goes to protect. This makes it so that we can either stall out some turns of toxic, scout the opposition or just pp stall a pokemon that is slower than :Suicune: . The last slot is taken up by calm mind so that it is easier to pp stall by becoming even bulkier as well as being able to become a long term threat into specific team builds. With sub and protect on this guy its easier to stall out weather turns into sand teams as well as rain and sun teams.

:Kyurem: :

The idea here was that if we're gonna pressure stall we might as well go in and with more offensive threats on the team it may be easier to beat certain builds as well. With that being said Kyurem felt like it could be an awesome addition. It outspeeds nearly every physical mon on sun like :Slither Wing: as well as :Great Tusk: making it so that it can much more easily stall out sun turns and with close combat only having 8 pp you can stall those out more quickly and make it so you have more switch ins to both of these absolute threats. in addition to this it has access to earth power to target into mons like :Gholdengo: or :pecharunt: and :slowking-galar: . The last move slot is for a solid stab option that can target into water types as well with freeze dry to hit mons like :alomomola: as well as :Toxapex: and :Dondozo: or even one shot :Ogerpon-wellspring: . Much like Suicune this guy is here to pressure stall and as such it felt best to have protect and substitute to pp the opposition and with max hp as well :blissey: seismic toss doesn't even break the sub.

:Corviknight: :

The third and final pressure mon on this team is here to serve a number of roles. The first is to once again chip down at the oppositions pp with the pressure ability. More than that though with the rocky helmet its here to passively chip at physical threats like :dragonite: and :great Tusk: . The first move slot is taken up by body press for a solid fighting type attack that is meant to capitalize on the defensive :corviknight: 's defense stat offensively. To check physical sweepers as well as amplify the strength of body press that move slot is iron defense. For a means of recovery from chip from mons like :great tusk: as well we're running a roost set to recover back. Finally, the last move slot is defog to prevent hazards from getting too out of hand. to make body press stab as well we're running a tera fighting set to make bp hit even harder.

:Blissey: :

:Blissey: , also known as your average special wall is the ultimate wall on the special side of things, with its only real competition being :clodsire: due to unaware, and on this team it serves that exact role. To counteract psyshock, we're running a tera dark set to be able to beat mons like av :slowking-galar: as well as specs :Iron Crown: and not have to play around stored power shenanigans. For the attacking move on this pokemon I decided to go with seismic toss for guaranteed chip so that even before setting up we could do damage with this guy. For recovery the second moveslot is soft boil as we want this mon to stay healthy for as long as possible. Rocks are a must have on stall teams and as such the third moveslot is stealth rock for passive chip on opposing :corviknight: . Finally to make sure we dont get beaten by a calm mind sweeper we are also running calm mind as it can typically win that war.

:Gliscor: :

WIth good bulk, a solid defensive typing and spikes Gliscor felt like a good addition to this team for more hazards, and it is the main knocker on the team as well to force the opposition to deal with hazards. To make sure we can get a toxic off on :Ogerpon-wellspring: this gliscor is a max hp max defense set as that mon can be quite scary into stall builds generally . to stall turns for toxic and make sure to take more hp from :great Tusk: or :Ogerpon-wellspring: as well as scout or stall out weather turns the third moveslot is protect, Finally for the maximum amount of hazards pressure the last moveslot is for spikes to keep applying pressure on the opposition. To block spin if need be the tera on this mon is ghost for a solid typing that also blocks spin.

:Dondozo: :

To have an unaware physical wall in case :corviknight: actually gets broken through the last mon on this team is the goat of unaware; :dondozo: . with access to curse this guy can build itself up until no physical attacker is able to break through it ; not even :kingambit: and can eventually sweep through the opposition. To have a move with access to recovery in case you've gotten chipped down the second moveslot is taken up by rest so that you can eventually complete that aforementioned sweep. the third moveslot is sleep talk so that even while :Dondozo: is asleep it can still hit into the opposing side or continue to set up as much as possible. The last moveslot is :body press: and this is mostly so that we still have a move to hit into :ogerpon-wellspring: as that pokemon is massively threatening into this team. to make sure we can still wall all :ogerpon-wellspring: sets as well we are running tera fairy for a good defensive typing that isn't weak into any pon sets but still can wall others (you could argue that tera grass is better).

Team weaknesses: :Gholdengo: is a massive problem for this team and arguably the best way to deal with it is to get off a couple of calm minds with suicune as it has the best chance at winning that 1v1 on this team since it isn't weak into make it rain like :kyurem: and can actually hit it unlike :Blissey: , especially since you then have to deal with hazards. In addition :Tyranitar: has an amazing matchup into this team especially if its banded as it can break through pretty much any of these mons and it basically forces you to trade :dondozo: into :tyranitar: making it much harder to wall the opposition. Finally opposing :gliscor: can be potentially annoying although never necessarily too problematic for this team.

With that being said I hope that you all enjoy a stall team with a bit more variety as I did here and I hope Y'all have a good one!

Happy to see enthusiastic about Pressure Stall.
As you can see, Corv is losing precious points in Def with Timid Nature and this EV arrangement. Use the set on the right to optimize.
I recommend Tera Dark on Suicune to avoid Psychic Noise.
And Tera Ground on Kyurem for Stab Earth Power or Poison to absorb Toxic Spikes in case Gholdengo prevents Corv from using Defog.
Tera Fairy Dozo leaves it vulnerable to Iron Head. Tera Dark or Normal, although vulnerable to Low Kick Gambit, respond better against Ceruledge and Hex.
244 HP/252+ Def/12 SpDef Gliscor. 244 is just a slight optimization in Poison Heal recovery by making the HP divisible by 8. While Tera Dragon or Grass can better respond to both Ogerpon-W and Teal.

Thank you for the input I really like these adjustments and will definitely be implementing them!

this team putting out that presh
please please please put tera dragon or tera grass on corv or dozo. Otherwise encore/taunt sd woger genuinely 6-0s if it gets one free turn (super easy vs this)
edit: Clicked on the wrong paste. Woger still looks problematic even with dozo teraed, as it could just taunt to prevent rest or knock on the switch to make it keep taking chip. I feel like maybe using something over Kyurem might be better.
Ghost gambit also seems sort of like an issue for this, maybe avalanche dozo?

Yah I used to run avalanche on it as well but getting the quick KO on :kingambit: felt good and typically with the tera ghost :kingambit: I start of going corv to get rocky helmet chip then toxic with gliscor and stall it out but that's a reasonable concern. I switched the tera typing on :dondozo: to grass as well because youre right woger is a rough matchup, and is actually the reason that I made the :Gliscor: max defense as well so if all things go awry you can trade your :gliscor: for the opposing :operpon-wellspring: . I liked the adjustments that Tio Chico recommended as well especially with the tera ground :Kyurem: as that makes the :gholdengo: matchup a little more livable with the Earth Power KO. Thank you for all your input I really appreciate it!

Alr, makes sense
The matchup seems manageable I guess. I feel like avalanche would be the better pick but if you find press better I'll trust
Fire username btw

Yah that's honestly fair I'll definitely use the avalanche set as well since it also gives a better matchup for :ceruledge: as up to this point that has been arguably one of the teams most difficult matchups where most of the time I end up just trading :Gliscor: into :ceruledge: . I'm including your recommendations in the second paste as well because I do think avalanche is a bit more equipped to take on more things than body press is. Also your username is awesome too and thank you for all the feedback!
