Hello everyone! We're about to enter the Lunar Year of the Fire Horse and this is a perfect opportunity to theme the CLC (even though Rapidash is sadly not in SV).

There'll be 2 different cores:
  • Core A (1vCLC24a): Horse + Moon-related Pokémon
    • At least 1 horse is mandatory: :keldeo::spectrier::glastrier::mudsdale::zebstrika: (you can go full horse if you dare)
    • Moon-related Pokémon: any Pokémon learning Moonlight or evolving with a Moon Stone + I'll allow :ursaluna: and :roaring moon: as they literally have the moon in their name (I can already see which core will be most used...)
  • Core B (1vCLC24b): Red is the colour of the Lunar New Year so red Pokémon only (use the command /ds red to double-check)

Prefix: 1vCLC24a and 1vCLC24b

ELO requirements:
Code: 
Bronze: 1300
Silver: 1400
Gold: 1500
Platinum: 1600


The full challenge rules can be found on the first post of the thread, but as a reminder:
  1. Post the replay that shows you reach the ELO cap you're claiming.​
  2. You don't need to register in the thread anymore. Just pick a name with prefix 1vCLC24a or 1vCLC24b and play!​
  3. If you are found using unauthorised mons, forfeit the battle and fix your team.​
  4. ELO requirements above.​


The cycle ends on Tuesday 24th February 2026, 23:59 GMT.​

oh yeah, for the moonhonse challenge (core A), is it one honse, one moon pokemon, one member unrelated to the challenge, or do all of your mons need to be one or the other, but with minimum 1 horse?

All mons need to be either horse or moon-related mon, with at least one horse. So 3 horses, or 2 horses + 1 moon, or 1 horse + 2 moon.

Hello everyone! The first Pokémon game was released exactly 30 years ago ("I was there, Gandalf..."), and of course we're going to have a special CLC for the occasion!

There'll be 2 different cores, and special prefixes:
  • Core 1 (1v30th1): GEN 1 Pokémon only! (you can use /ds gen1 to see what's available)

  • Core 2 (1v30th2): any Pokémon and item you want, but you can only click GEN 1 moves! i.e. no Encore, no Dark/Dragon/Fairy/Steel moves...
    What will you cook? (you can use /ms [pokémon], gen1 to see a mon's Gen 1 movepool)

  • Generational aura buff if you combine both cores


Special prefixes: 1v30th1 and 1v30th2
