* Sneasler leverages its high Attack and Speed in tandem with its powerful STAB moves and Unburden to become a very dangerous offensive threat.
* Sneasler's STAB moves allow it to threaten many common metagame threats with OHKOs, namely Incineroar, Rillaboom, Ogerpon formes and Ursaluna.
* Sneasler struggles greatly with certain foes, especially those which resist its STAB moves such as Landorus, Gholdengo and Tornadus, all of which can threaten Sneasler back with an OHKO.
* Flutter Mane pairs very well with Sneasler, as it greatly appreciate's Sneasler's ability to threaten Rillaboom and Ogerpon-Wellspring which Flutter Mane can struggle with, while in turn Flutter Mane hits Landorus and Gholdengo with Icy Wind and Shadow Ball respectively for Sneasler. Chien-Pao pairs additionally well with Sneasler, being able to hit the Ghost-types that resist Sneasler's STAB with Dark-type moves, whilst Sneasler can hit the Fairy- and Steel-types that resist Chien-Pao's Dark- and Ice-type STAB moves.

* White Herb, after being activated by either Sneasler's own Close Combat or one of the many stat lowering moves and abilities in the metagame, namely Incineroar's Intimidate and Flutter Mane's Icy Wind, allows for Sneasler to become a threatening and fast attacker. It's STAB moves threaten a large portion of the metagame, most notably Incineroar and Ogerpon-W. Further, it's high Speed stat allows for it to become the fastest Fake Out in the format, giving it the further advantage in the face of Rillaboom and Incineroar.
* Gunk Shot can be utilised over Dire Claw for its significantly higher power, most importantly being able to OHKO Rillaboom, and Flutter Mane when bolstered by Tera Stellar or Sword of Ruin, however its poor accuracy is a significant drawback.
* Throat Chop allows for Sneasler to hit Gholdengo, which would otherwise hard wall its STAB moves, while also hitting other Ghost-types Tera Ghost Incineroar and Chi-Yu. Coaching can also be a strong option for bolstering physical attacking partners to allow them to sweep, including Arcanine-H and Ogerpon-W.
* Tera Stellar gives Sneasler a further boost to its STAB moves, allowing for it to notably OHKO Rillaboom with Dire Claw, Ursaluna with Close Combat and Incineroar with Close Combat at -1 attack. Tera Dark gives Sneasler an immunity to the Psychic-types attacks that would otherwise fatally threaten it, namely Expanding Force, as well as bolstering the damage of Throat Chop. Tera Dragon gives Sneasler many important resistances, most notably to Urshifu-R's Surging Strikes, Raging Bolt's Thunderclap and Ogerpon-W and H's Ivy Cudgel.
