Pending Allow sprite selection for older gens

Currently, Showdown displays sprites from a specific game for every generation, despite multiple viable sets of sprites existing for multiple generations.

As an avid Gen 1 player, being forced to play with Yellow sprites is not ideal. I'd much prefer Red & Blue (or even Red & Green).

These games are all capable of connecting with each other in real life, so it follows that the user should get to decide what specific game they are playing, and by extension what sprites they see on their screen.

I am aware that you can use Tampermonkey scripts, but these only work in battle and not in the teambuilder. And I just think that this is a natural feature that many users would enjoy.

These options should simply be listed in the options sidebar on the right, in the Graphics section. There would be a dropdown for Gen 1 (RG, RB, Y), Gen 2 (G,S,C), Gen 3 (RS, FRLG), Gen 4 (DP, HGSS). Thank you!

I had this idea on the back of my mind for a while, making a sort of mod/addon/extension for showdown that would allow you to select what sprite you wanted for each pokemon in each gen, there's a lot of variety from gen 1 to 4 (even gen 5 has a very few minor changes in sprites between BW and BW2), but unfortunately I don't really know how i could develop such thing.

I always prefered the Red & Blue sprites over the more accurate representations of the Yellow sprites, theres something about the exxagerated proportions and wacky poses that always appealed to me, and as someone who grew up with Diamond & Pearl but not Platinum, and played only a bit of Soul Silver, I have some affinity with the sprites from those games.

I think this could easily be developed as a mod/extension, hope someone gives this a shot.
