Unfortunate that we lost just before playoffs, but for my first time managing it was a great experience. Basically everyone on the team already had some experience with 1v1 team tours, so it was neat to have players not need too much guidance in terms of teambuilding and processing scouting information. I don't know if I'll signup to be a manger for PL, but if no one else can prove to me they should lead the Heatrans then I might myself :3 Now for the shoutouts:
Call me PK : Thanks for keeping up the building ethic throughout the weeks, its something that players are prone to with burnout, but you kept persisting and I appreciate that. Your first 2 weeks in DPP were not favored by the RNG gods, but seeing your wins in SS then a double win in Multigen was a fantastic display. Hoped you had fun these past 5 weeks, especially when you had to build against frogfacts and RADU.
Dead by Daylight : Thanks for being there as a sub last minute, its unfortunate your only time in the spotlight was rushed, but we're all grateful you were there. I'm looking forward to seeing you host UMPL again with even more grammatical errors lol.
feen : Thanks for your help in respect to your SM and BW series, its always a joy to see players excel in their fields of expertise as someone who has little knowledge of those gens. Again, I want to apologize for not waiting until the final last minute to sub you out for Week 4, as I was confident you'd win had I pinged you just a bit sooner. But anyways, really respect your SM skills and hope to see you again in a future tour regardless of ally or foe.
Joaf : Hope you at least had fun while on the team. I know its honestly sucks to not get any wins at all, but I appreciate you taking it upon yourself to improve your ADV teams week after week. Hope to see you partake in the next 1v1 tour that has ADV.
mipc : Sorry you were the only one on the team to never get any screen time. Hoped you had fun on this team regardless.
Nunnbetter : Before auction, Rei had their sights on you, and after everything I can see why. You were definitely a strong presence in the team cord, from helping your teammates build and test their wild ideas, to playing 3 different tiers over the weeks. Looking forward to seeing you play in the next 1v1 team tours that awaits us both!
Rec : Was a good and fun time having you on the team. Unfortunate that you had lost both series that you were in, but you were a good sport and continuously supported the team week after week. Hopefully next time you will get to be paired up with Pordra lol.
Rei : The one who led the whole team, thanks for being a wonderful manager to work alongside with. It was interesting to see and compare how you managed the team compared to the other managers I've been a player for, and it really goes to show how long you've been in the 1v1 community for. I appreciate you showing me the ropes to what a manager is expected to be, both in terms of responsibilities and in the eyes of our players, and I'm glad I responded to you way back 2 months ago when you were looking for a co-manager. You down to get the Hellfire Heatrans a 3rd chip? XD
seraphz : Honestly I was surprised when you had beat zo, was is the Tier Leader for National Dex, in such a way that it made you seem like you were in control the whole series. Thanks for being a consistently strong player in a tier that 1v1 will rarely see in team tours, and I look forward to your games in all the other metagames.
SEROO : Mantyke go brrrr. I'm glad you enjoyed building absolute hydrogen babies during your time in BW, I know its a tier you def had fun building with these past five weeks. Its unfortunate Game Freak didn't add more hp to Shieldon, cause a face like that is built to metal burst kek. I know I prob should have told you to use more "standard teams" but you seemed to be having way too much fun and I respect that in someone who can build what they like while also making sure they actually help and not hinder a team. See you in the next tour.
Sificon : Idk if you remember, but you were one of my opponents way back when during one of the 1v1 Majors, and back then was when I was just getting used to how to cteam. Reason why I brought this up was you unknowingly helped me enjoy and improve in 1v1, along with all my other opps in that tour. Anyways, thank you for helping us not go 0-5 in ADV, even with some RNG against that Venu you were bound to win anyways.
SomeRandomDoodle : #1 Team supporter, I'm truly and honestly relieved we were able to get you during auction. From getting scouts, overlooking teams in the process of fine-tuning, you supported one and all of us. Definitely frustrating how Discord support was useless in helping you, but you preserved and continued to help the team even when you couldn't access the team cord. I look forward to seeing your player signup for this year's PL, and if I end up being just a player I'll request to be paired up with you :) also kek i still can't forget yr belly drum azu into that gengar, absolute stonks on that game
Tol : Never had a highschool teacher as cool as you, thank you for taking to time to not only participate but ensure that the teams you would bring are up-to-date on the SM meta, instead of just recycling what you may have used in the past. Looking forward to seeing you come back to the world of 1v1, especially in PL.
trace : Lastly, ty for your contributions especially in your ORAS games. I only really knew you during the last 1v1 PL for your BW skills, so I was curious to see how you performed in gen 6. It was always a blast watching your series, and I hope to see you perform again in future tours.
Indi01 Shoutout to my past self, completed all of the SV experiments I was hoping to achieve during this tour now with custap removed, and the results were satisfactory. To my future self, reminder to use the same secondary spreadsheet I used during last PL if all the player conditions are generally met, thanks.
Finally, good luck to the players who will compete in finals, hope to see a fantastic display of skill ^^
