Done [OU] Darkrai

Darkrai @ Black Glasses
Ability: Bad Dreams
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Ice Beam

After being dropped into OU this generation, Darkrai's got a brand new way of knocking your block off! Instead of running the usual Special Attack coverage options, this set runs three Dark-type moves with Black Glasses and Tera Dark for mixed offense. Its strong Knock Off lets it make progress early-game, especially as it can bait in and remove items from checks like Blissey, Clodsire, Assault Vest Alomomola, and Garganacl. Sucker Punch allows Darkrai to flip the matchup and pull a fast one over unsuspecting faster threats like Dragapult, Choice Scarf Gholdengo, a weakened Excadrill under sand and Terastallized Ogerpon. Ice Beam provides coverage against various threats like Great Tusk, Dragonite, Ting-Lu, and Gliscor. Generally, this set fits well on offensive teams. Because of its lack of coverage or status moves, Fighting- and Dark-types like Zamazenta, Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott check it more reliably. To counteract this, you can run teammates such as Iron Valiant, Great Tusk, or your own Zamazenta. Fairy-types like Clefable, Hatterene, and Primarina are also problematic for this set, which is why Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Heavy Slam Zamazenta are great teammates.

After being dropped into OU this generation, Darkrai's got a brand new way of knocking your block off! Instead of running the usual Special Attack coverage options, this set runs 3 Dark type moves with Black Glasses and Tera Dark and a Naive nature for mixed offense. It can be a bit counterintuitive for both you and opponents as they may want to avoid bringing in certain checks out of fear for Choice Specs or Nasty Plot. This is where this set shines, as its strong Knock Off lets it make progress early-game, especially as you bait in and Knock Off crucial Heavy-Duty Boots of checks like Blisseys and Clodsires (add garg & av mola too) who once completely countered Darkrai. (bliss & clod in particular are still decent checks to this set even after being knocked so would not oversell it too much). Sucker Punch allows Darkrai to flip the matchup and pull a fast one over any unsuspecting faster threats like Dragapults, Choice Scarf Gholdengo, and weakened Excadrill under sand and Terastallized Ogerpon. (just added more examples throughout all of these to emphasize the importance of knock+sucker on the set) Ice Beam provides coverage against various threats like Great Tusk, Dragonite, Ting Lu, and Gliscor. etc. This set will get countered by a large variety of Pokemon, which is why bluffing Scarf or Boots with Ice Beam is a big part of it's strategy. Examples of Pokemon that can switch in easily to this set include Zamazenta, Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott. However, they may not want to because of Darkrai potentially threatening Will-O-Wisp or Sludge Bomb or Trick. During such uncertain turns, Darkrai can get nice Knock Offs for progress. (these are solid infos but prob too specific for a spotlight-setting and we've exceeded the character limit by quite a bit. instead, just mention the kind of teams this darkrai set fits in. and then you can also mention teammates that help handle Zamazenta, Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott like you mentioned earlier, which is a great point to cover still) A good partner for Darkrai would be Great Tusk for hazard removal. Gholdengo is also great for facing off against Fairy and Fighting types as well as for denying removal. ('removal and denying removal' are too generic and the least priority of concerns for the set, i think emphasizing ghold's fairy matchup is more important. and make sure to add examples of those mons as well)
looks promising but i want to take a look at this again before stamping, let me know once it's implemented

Generally, this set fits well in offense balance and hazard stacking structures. (otherwise bulkier structures prefer other sets) However, because of lack of coverage or status moves, Fighting and Dark types will check it. Examples include like Zamazenta, Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott will check it even more reliably. To counteract this, you can run teammates such as Iron Valiant, Corviknight, Great Tusk, or your own Zamazenta. Fairy types like Clefable, Hatterene, and Primarina are also a problem for this set, which is why Heatran, Slowking-Galar, and Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Heavy Slam Zamazenta are great teammates as well. (replaced examples with more offensive teammates since they fit better on the same arcehtypes)
