Eragon and I will not be hosting tryouts for the moonblasters, however you are welcome to DM us any replays or achievements that you believe may sway us towards drafting you. Preferably on discord (@ logice and @ eragon1145 respectively). We may not respond to every DM, but we will read all of them. Looking forward to a fun tour!

Haii, id be very happy to play ADV for any of yall this derb!!
I've been really enjoying the tier for the past 1-2 years and have been drafted in ADVLTL I (where admittedly i did go 2-4 buuut i would say ive gotten better since then -w-)
ADV I feel has a lot of room for development and I'd love to play this year to showcase my builder choices and justifications. I would also wouldn't mind being a general support for SV and SM as an easy 3k at the end of auction :3
Other tours I've participated in include UMFL (2-1) and 2v2PL (Haven't played a set yet ill edit here when i do) both for 2v2.

sv is a bit weaker but 2x clicker + jello building should be enough to make some progress
 
With the goal of hopefully ruining at least one team's secret strategy, I'm here to hype up some players (some don't need my hype at all) but only in the tiers I might end up playing:
IcyPenguin2 is a top tier clicker and should be HIGHLY valued
aseqq isn't even underrated after recent DLT t8 but somehow still feels underestimated by some ~10k TBH

Ultima - Is practicing often and deserves more chances than they've gotten
LugiaJP - Was impressive during DWC and imo is good enough to start
Pais - Mogman can ball, I know talent when I see it

Astro Nation Shoe - We highkey need to let them in more NDD stuff, pretty consistently solid player, 2nd in one of last year's seasonals (I think?)
Steam Buns - NDDLT winner, invits t4, not even unknown so I'm not ruining any draft plans here
christianfinity - Preps very well when needed, NDCL 3-1 and around 94% GXE on NDD ladder (yes, I know NDD ladder isn't a great indicator)

repeat - we better have been trolling in the mocc, cuz trick house AND wbg guardian winner better not go untaken in draft. Idc if those are vgc draft tours, this guy can ball

Opelucid - Could talk about them here or in SV1, but either way is highkey broken and can be big coin
Pengu - T8 invits and generally a pretty good player overall

Draft Board Drop
Firstoff, thank you to everyone who voted on tier changes for this slate: Schister Idyll Feyy Lemurro Terekusai fespy eragon and thank you to Ryan&Ditto as always for allowing me to use your document template.

We have slated 161 pokemon for tiering this update, and it resulted in some rather interesting developments.
- Gholdengo has risen from 19 to 20 points to reflect usage, and success rate in multiple tours
- Iron Hands has dropped from 20 to 19 points, to reflect low win rate
- Other top tiers like Landorus-Therian, Deoxys-Base, Enamorus, Kingambit, and Amoonguss have all dropped a point or more to make them more draft able.
- Several quality of life changes within the lower and mid tiers to reflect draft rates to incentivize drafting these pokemon.

With the draft happening in just over 24 hours, I wanted to sell myself to prospective managers as a potential 3k sub/support slot:

Why should we consider you?
I am very active in the Showdown/Smogon community, playing almost every tier/format there is, with respectable results in many - this includes a range of double formats. I have always been keen to get to know as many people as I can, to make new friends and develop myself in the game. I'm hoping that debuting in my first Doubles Derby team tour will help me get that additional exposure and experience against high level doubles players.

What results do you have?
  • Made Round 6 (Last 16) of the ADV DOU Cup
  • Made Round 10 (one round away from Last 4) of the BW DOU Cup
  • Debuted in DWCOP for Team Europe for SV DOU (although my record was 0-3, I feel I performed better than my result suggests)
  • Currently 3-1 in VGC Swiss
I have many more results, but these are not necessarily related to this tournament.

With the right support and team environment, I hope I can be a great presence, and I'm hoping to be considered in the draft on Sunday.
