Welcome to the commencement thread for the UnderUsed Premier League XIV! Like every year, 8 teams with 10 starters will play each other on the big stage in order to come out as the winners in the biggest UU team tournament of the year. Who will win? Which players will be the stars, which will be the breakout players, and which players will flop? Stay tuned to see!

Hello dear managers, would like for one of you to give me a chance to be on your team for the prestigious UUPL XIV. I'll be cheap + I can help in multiple slots (SS + GSC mainly but also ORAS) + having me allows you to draft a cheap starter who can click so you have more credits to spend on the big bucks. :3
 
Hey, I have a strong distaste for this kind of post but it has been feeling like it is worth dispelling what seems to be a common, ongoing misconception, that may adversely affect someone's draft.

I am not a ‘real’ GSC player; I don’t build in the tier and have spent the last however many tours compiling however many (mostly public) imports, picking one that feels good some five minutes beforehand and winging it. I hope this doesn’t come across as disparaging of the tier/gen, it’s simply not in my skillset at this time. I am also not refusing to play the gen, to the contrary it’s pretty fun (dare I say one of the better UU’s?), but it has seemingly come as a surprise that my prep channel is a wasteland and I would hate to feel party to any misinformation. If you’re comfortable with that, so be it, I will fill that role. This does create a bit of a conundrum in draft, as I personally can’t think of a great many good GSC builders who themselves shouldn’t be starting, but that’s your choice to make.

To expand briefly on whatever else may be, I'm working longer hours right now on a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, and thus am somewhat at the mercy of whomever I might play in a week because most could force a sub if they so desired. No complaints with bench, technically speaking I only have enough teams in my builder to get through a regular season in either GSC or ORAS atm. Take of that what you will, I have no desire to price fix, appreciate your time.
