Decisions and Announcements for the second iteration of Chinese Premier League will be communicated in this thread. I recommend watching this thread if you're participating to keep yourself up to date with what's happening.

General Information:
  • Chinese Premier League is subject to Tournament Rules and General Guidelines.
  • If a player is to be retained, the price will be equal to their CNPL I price + 3k, with a minimum price of 10k;
  • ALL 3 Managers may self-buy for 20k each.
  • A team may have a total of 3 players purchased prior to the draft between retains and/or manager selfbuys. Former managers cannot be retained.
  • There will be 8 teams with a minimum of 14 players (12 starters + 2 subs). Among the 12 starting players, there should be atleast 5 players who can communicate in Chinese, and the number of players in the team who can communicate in Chinese must be atleast 7 (it is not necessary to be a native Chinese speaker, and if the number of players is insufficient, the Host will adjust the requirements appropriately.
  • Each team will have 150k Credits to spend throughout the entire drafting process.
  • Playoffs: Each team will play one another for seven weeks. Based on the final standings, the top 4 teams will enter a Playoffs Round to determine the teams appearing in the finals.
  • The winning team of CNPL will receive a Team Custom Avatar that sponsored by PS! Chinese中文 room（Approved by PS! upper Staff). All members of the winning team will also receive Room Prize Winner (^) in PS! Chinese中文 Room for a month.
 
RE: Classic Bo5

Following an internal vote held today, the CNPL II managers have decided to remove Classic Bo5 from this tournament and have instead chosen Masters Bo3 (SS OU / SM OU / ORAS OU).

For anyone who has already signed up, feel free to reach out to any of the hosts if you wish to add Masters Bo3 to your list of preferred or unplayed tiers. Its completely fine if you have already signed up and had selected Classic Bo5, it just won't be counted.

The signup form has been edited accordingly.

RE: Selbuys and Retains part one

The Dawn of Lightning have retained Yuudachi0811 and Destro16, for 10k each.
Their new total is now: 150k - 10k - 10k = 130k.

The Ngyëi Sjví Slowpokes have self-purchased Corvikafka for 20k and retained Baddy and evakiyama!, for 10k each.
Their new total is now: 150k - 20k - 10k - 10k = 110k.

The Seven Night Stardust have self-purchased Metallica126 for 20k and retained Indulge in dreams and Plague, for 13.5k and 10k, respectively.
Their new total is now: 150k - 20k - 13.5k - 10k = 106.5k.

The Useful Copy Players have self-purchased hybone for 20k and retained Lazuli and chansey and lulu, for 10k and 19.5k, respectively.
Their new total is now: 150k - 20k - 10k - 19.5k = 100.5k.

The Oblivion Ambers have self-purchased mielke for 10k.
Their new total is now: 150k - 10k = 140k.
