Rules​

• Follow all rules listed here.​
• Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
• If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
• Substitutions may be made after a week as started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
• If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
• Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. They're also required.​

Soup mentioned this is his debut tour for gsc uu, that said I think he'll keep things close on motivation but im leaning dawn here

Indulges appearances in gsc lts have become a marvel to watch with all the non-standard sets we see, i do rate celebiii a fair bit higher but idt its unlikely they're caught off-guard by one such set or idea
GSC: cheru vs evakiyama!
Evakiyama has this and gsc uupl as a selfbought manager so I think they're just too deep in the mines to be outprepped.

SV: mintwinter vs Nat - if nat gives like 20% of a fuck this tournament, i think she should do really well. but the odds of that happening is another story LMAO mintwinter going for as much as she did is crazy btw like i thought she'd be a great sv3 but god damn the 3rd most expensive sv in the whole tour + more expensive than most retains is nuts. looking to see how this week goes for her

SV: Colin vs Drud - drud's been really good in whatever he plays for a while now and he was on my uucl team so i'm giving him a free bold

SV: haxlolo vs Sirwings - haxlolo also went for way more than i thought he would but i didnt know he went 5-2 in uucl until i looked at the sheet earlier today

SS: Jojen vs Baddy - baddy did good in this tier whatever i don't like writing about ss man

SM: Tenebricite vs robjr - i'm tired of being called a rob glazer like every year since 2022 but i bold him 90% of the time for a reason. tene is probably decent at the tier but rob's hungry enough to where i'd favor him heavily vs pretty much everyone in the pool heavily aside from like sacri

ORAS: Shiba vs The Strap - shiba is a master in the art of making mons that look like noob traps work, i think he is slowly coming back to form after 2025 shiba regressed a little towards the end of the year

BW: Real FV13 vs Tack - i guess this could go either way, both of them have had Interesting Games in this tier but I rate them highly as players. if real doesn't bring some stupid shit id favor him but tack could definitely tilt the fuck out of him

DPP: fatty vs BeatsBlack - i actually really like the drud + beatsblack combo here and beats farming the show last year was one of the funnier games of uucl but need to see how this game goes before i can get more of a confidence level on the strikers dpp here

ADV: Micciu vs mielke - mielke def brings wackier shit, only time i've ever actually seen someone use cb trick grumpig aside from me fucking around in uusa vs world but micciu seems to be doing just fine in classic rn despite a really awful uucl, kinda similar to shiba

GSC: leoperi vs BigFatMantis - bfm is probably one of the kindest souls to grace this website and a great presence for uu but he is my least favorite player to face. like it isnt close, i don't think i even have played him many times but the times i have it just makes my mood worse. there is no chance of an enjoyable game vs him im sorry it is not happening, he is not afraid to use the eye rollers. i think if he pulls a favorable mu he should win because his strengths in most tiers i've seen him be good at involve him just having a team that his opponent doesn't really have great counterplay against. leoperi did well in uucl and from what i remember he kind of plays like an asshole which is a good thing if it works

SV: zS vs Sabella - zS seems to be motivated here (source: he talked in the uu discord yesterday to counter the grew rankings) and he has a high ceiling, i'm a fan of sabella in this tier though i feel like the ladies overpaid on SV this tour

SV: Gondra vs Mossy Sandwich - gondra might not care that much but i don't know how much mossy does either. i saw him talk in the pokemon null discord when i joined for documentation and between that + plat kaizo next week who knows how much he'll try so whatever i'm going with the lazy "better player" approach

SV: FoulplayG vs ThatOneApple - i don't understand how this guy went for 3k, ik ip looked away from his screen but you'd think at least one other manager would bid...on the other hand apple went for like way more than i would've expected and i rate foulplayg way higher

SS: dex vs Mindnight - dex plays this tier (or at least he did, if you play the tier in 2023 you might as well still be playing it now even if u havent been in tours in a while i feel like)

SM: mipc vs Xiri - mipc's a very new face but has been making a name for himself in uu classic this year. i feel like he's apologized for luck in like at least half his games though. anyway that tour doesn't have sm in it and xiri is probably at least a little better at it

ORAS: Hydronics vs dingbat - i think hydronics'll be really hungry to redeem himself after uucl but dingbat's not the opponent you wanna face when you wanna shake that sort of thing off. also i don't think anyone on his team even knows oras so he might end up just working alone which idt is great because this oras pool is really good for some reason

BW: Hacker vs Estarossa - hard to predict against hacker after uucl even if he has a different team source this time. esta has stated he wouldn't play dpp after the sleep ban, being one of the few people who didn't vote to axe it, so i guess he's here. you would think he'd move to sm because of spore being stupid as fuck there but i guess clicking twave with togekiss and having a fun time probably isn't all THAT different

DPP: MrAldo vs Thiago Nunes - daldo impressed in bw in recent uu tours and i do remember him beating thiago before during uu snake, a long time ago mind you but still, but despite not grinding tours like he used to and underperforming last year i still think thiago might clutch it here?

ADV: Premonitions vs Heysup - i believe in previous tours i've viewed premonitions as someone who can do well, but they haven't been as successful recently. it's ok to use spikes! you should use them i promise they're good

GSC: Celebiii vs Indulge in dreams - this guy showed up late to our gsc uu set a few weeks ago, i decided to play the series and got rewarded by facing full baton pass. that was really cool. he did play well though and being a demon is defnitely a good strat in gsc so he'll probably win

SV: bbeeaa vs Finchinator - askov is a good builder and starbitstorm is not as good of a builder i feel like. that's basically it whatever

SV: Fc vs Piyu - actually one of the week's hls for me because both are really good at sv tiers. thats about it though like it'll be entertaining but 51/49

SV: Plague vs Rasche - rasche is a very volatile player in terms of how well he'll actually play, when he's locked in he looks great but other games it just seems like he's lost and sometimes its a chore to get a hold of him to do stuff but he did win uucl for us last year so good enough

SS: Stareal vs Lana - he plays ss ou and ss nu or something

SM: Sacri' vs lighthouses - was going to say "wouldn't it make sense for diogo to oras if you start him here" but somehow i completely forgot hes good at an sm lower tier. been quite a while since sacri has played in uu team tours i believe so we'll see if he can shake off the rust here

ORAS: pdt vs Pak - kinda mentioned this earlier but there are a lot of crazy oras pairings we'll see this tour and this is at the high end of those, i knew the oras pool would probably have the most depth but it still kind of exceeded my expectations, at least on paper. close one and both have their own unique styles of building and play that are top class. boring for now i know but gut says pak

BW: seraphz vs Monai - monai was really underpriced for some reason, the bw pool being sucky on paper was a big worry of mine going in to the auction so he probably should've been higher, at the very least over 10k. he did do not great last year but i think he knows what he's doing here as long as the teams good

DPP: Le Don vs Killintime - le don was also prob one of the biggest steals of the auction to me, i remember him being really good at dpp stuff. anyway maybe if i bold killintime he'll stop calling me a snake even though i'd argue i tried harder for him in the tours i bid on him than he did for me last uupl

ADV: crying vs Parpar - normally the commentary for crying is they'll use something crazy but like last uucl they just brought good stuff and won with it, nothing really more to it than that. parpar hasn't been looking as hot lately and he keeps using roselia vs me. stop it!

GSC: cheru vs evakiyama! - nice to see cheru get bought for one of these but i didn't expect her to start at all let alone in gsc. maybe she was a gsc mainer at some point and i just forgot. either way while eva looked up and down in uucl she had some strong showings in gscpl?? i think?

I feel like mintwinter has the momentum after her UU circuit win and has a greater knowledge of the meta than Nat.
SV: Colin vs Drud
I feel like Colin has more knowledge of SV UU than Drud, as he played in UUCL.
SV: haxlolo vs Sirwings
Sirwings is starting in SV? That is a suprise. I have Lolo here due to having more knowledge about the meta.
SS: Jojen vs Baddy
Baddy is a very good player, and has a large amount of knowledge of SS UU.
SM: Tenebricite vs robjr
Tenebricite is a very good player, having made top 16 of both masters and classic, but robjr knows a ton of SM, so I predict rob to win this match.
ORAS: Shiba vs The Strap
Shiba is a very dangerous player, and I expect him to win this match.
BW: Real FV13 vs Tack
This is a very good match, feel like Real FV13 has a slight edge here.
DPP: fatty vs BeatsBlack
fatty has a ton of experience in DPP UU, and I think this serves them win.
ADV: Micciu vs mielke
Miccu is very good at UU classic gens and has a ton of experience in ADV.
GSC: leoperi vs BigFatMantis
A highlight matchup of this year, expect BFM to win due to being very well versed in GSC UU.

etern is coming off of a fantastic 10-1 in SCL, and went 6-3 in UUPL last year. Xrn went 7-2 last year, but that was in ADV as opposed to SV.
SV: Meru vs sky
Feel like this could go either way, just feel like bolding Meru due to vibes.
SV: frankjosh vs Taka
Frankjosh is playing in SV? That's a surprise. Picking Taka as I feel he is better at SV.
SS: damien the genius vs yone
Idt damien the genius has played SS UU before. I teamed with yone in UUFPL and he was great, so I am bolding him.
SM: vk vs DugZa
vk is a good player, but I feel like DugZa is better at SM UU, being involved in prep when he was my manager during UUBD.
ORAS: Garay oak vs wanka
Since Spitfire got subbed out, I'm picking Garay Oak to win this, as he is a fanastic player.
BW: shiloh vs Accel
Accel is one of the best BW UU minds out there, and has helped me to prep in the tier before.
DPP: passion vs violet river
Passion is not in SV UU? Bolding them as I feel like they have more knowledge of DPP UU.
ADV: Bouff vs Cam
Bouff is the 2 seed in UU classic, and they know a lot about oldgens, so I expect them to win this.
GSC: MrSoup vs DAWNBUSTER
Dawnbuster knows GSC UU inside and out, and will probably bring a very solid team to this match.

SV: zS vs Sabella
One of the highlight matches of this week. zS had a very good SCL, and is looking to continue that momentum into UUPL. Sab is still an amazing player though and can definitely prove me wrong.
SV: Gondra vs Mossy Sandwich
This match is more even than I realize. While on paper Mossy has a higher knowledge of the meta, he has mentioned not being up to date, which makes this signifcantly more even.
SV: FoulplayG vs ThatOneApple
FPG is one of UU's best players, and is extremely dedicated. Apple is still a very good player, so this is a toss-up.
SS: dex vs Mindnight
Bit of a tossup, both players are good but Ive played Mindnight before and they are a very good player.
SM: mipc vs Xiri
mipc just won UU classic, and is quickly becoming one of UU's best players.
ORAS: Hydronics vs dingbat
Have to bold my fellow Knicks fan who is very good at ORAS UU.
BW: Hacker vs Estarossa
Hacker has played BW UU before in UUCL and is a generally very good player.
DPP: MrAldo vs Thiago Nunes
This match really could go either way, Thiago Nunes underperformed last year so I give the odds to MrAldo although this could go either way.
ADV: Premonitions vs Heysup
Heysup is very, very good in ADV UU, and as such is extremely difficult to beat.
GSC: Celebiii vs Indulge in dreams
Celebiii is very good at GSC UU, and has played in UUPL before.

bbeeaa is a very good SV player, and has building support in Askov, but something in me tells me to pick Finch.
SV: Fc vs Piyu
Fc has more knowledge of SV UU than Piyu.
SV: Plague vs Rasche
Plague has been on fire in tours recently, winning SCL and being extremely clutch.
SS: Stareal vs Lana
Stareal has done very well in SS NU, and I expect this to carry over into SS UU.
SM: Sacri' vs lighthouses
Feel like Sacri has more experience in SM UU, and looks to bounce back from SCL.
ORAS: pdt vs Pak
Pak will apply a very high level of prep here, and knows ORAS UU inside and out.
BW: seraphz vs Monai
seraphz did well in last SPL, as well as BWPL. Monai also has a lot of knowledge of BW so this will be close.
DPP: Le Don vs Killintime
KT has played a ton of UU, and provided support during last UUFPL.
ADV: crying vs Parpar
Parpar has played a ton of ADV UU and is a very good player, just watch out for unorthodox team choices from crying.
GSC: cheru vs evakiyama!
eva is a very good player at GSC UU, being retained for the tier, but an upset from Cheru is very possible.
