What is Replay of The Week?​

Replay of The Week is a weekly(ish) live YouTube show hosted on my channel where one or more guests and I react to showdown replays submitted by the community! Once each replay has been spectated, the winner is chosen by the viewers who vote via poll in the YouTube chat.

This is a show I've been running for the better part of the past year mostly organized in my discord server and it's been a ton of fun! We've had a lot of community involvement and participation, and I decided to also invite the Smogon community to participate as well.

How do I Participate?​

Simply commenting here with a link to the replay you want to submit will suffice! Replays are also able to be submitted in my discord server; either/or works.

Replay of the Week Rules​

  • Everyone gets only 1 (one) submission per show​
  • ANY Format is allowed, though our audience currently skews mostly ADV OU​
  • ANY Replay is allowed, the replay does not have to be from the past week.​
  • Not every submitted replay will be selected!​
    • We typically won't have time to watch every replay, so a friend of Zetts (often Tetrafolium) usually watches the submissions beforehand and narrows it down to the best ~12-15 replays so we can have a tight and exciting show​
    • If your replay isn't selected, we hope you submit again next time!​

This Monday our featured guest is going to be by far the most profific ADV Gamer on the entire YouTube platform, StoicKite!

StoicKite regularly posts multiple ADV ladder matches to his growing youtube channel seemingly every single day. He also had a fantastic showing in ADV Revival 3 recently making it all the way to round 9 of pools!

This was so fun to watch, I hope more collaborations with Dave occur in the future.

It is a bit unfortunate that I wasn't able to watch the entire stream lol

She and I are also matched up for ADV Winter Seasonal Loser's Top 32, so we'll be playing our set in full at the beginning of the stream, ft. commentary from Tetrafolium!

and shoutouts to Edea for letting me use some of her own artwork as the thumbnail :)

 
Here's an old game from when I was testing a dumb team at low elo. Played it kinda poorly but it's still the most memorable battle I've had. I can't find the replay so here's the file; hope it works.

Edit: I'm the one with regirock.
