Volcanion brings a niche as a strong bulky attacker that can reliably switch into foes like Primarina and Alomomola with its Water Absorb ability, spreading burns through its powerful Steam Eruption. Sludge Bomb is used to hit targets like Primarina and Ogerpon-W for super effective damage while spreading poison onto checks like Alomomola and Dragapult. Taunt lets Volcanion prevent setup opportunities from Pokemon like Primarina while also preventing status moves such as Galarian Slowking's Chilly Reception and Alomomola's Wish; Taunt notably irritates walls like Blissey and Toxapex. Will-O-Wisp, meanwhile, actively cripples physical attackers like Ogerpon-W, Zamazenta, and Dragonite. It pairs especially well with Steam Eruption, as usual Will-O-Wisp absorbers like Moltres, Heatran, and Gliscor cannot switch into Volcanion safely. Fire Spin is an alternative move over Flamethrower that can be used in combination with Taunt to trap foes like Blissey and Alomomola to stallbreak incredibly well. Earth Power can also be used to hit Raging Bolt and Galarian Slowking. Heavy-Duty Boots lets Volcanion reliably switch in on foes like Ogerpon-W and Primarina without dealing with entry hazard chip damage. Roar can be used to phaze attackers such as Kingambit, Iron Valiant, and Primarina. On teams with solid hazard control, Leftovers and Shuca Berry can be used. The former is able to passively heal to better leverage Volcanion's fantastic natural bulk, while the latter lets it tank a Ground-type attack from Dragonite, Great Tusk, and Enamorus and fire back with an attack or Will-O-Wisp. Custap Berry is an alternative option that is able to leverage Volcanion's trading ability to take out revenge killers like Great Tusk and Iron Moth. Maximum Special Attack and Speed lets Volcanion get the jump on Gliscor, Moltres, and Tyranitar, giving it opportunities to deal heavy damage. However, a bulkier spread that can let Volcanion outspeed Adamant Kingambit can be used, allowing it to be able to survive uninvested Great Tusk's Headlong Rush and offensive Landorus-T's Earthquake while becoming a better check to Primarina, Iron Valiant, and Cinderace. 112 Defense EVs can be used alongside maximum HP to let Volcanion survive maximum Attack Great Tusk's Headlong Rush. Tera Ghost lets Volcanion spinblock against Great Tusk and Iron Treads, check Zamazenta, and be immune to Blissey's Seismic Toss on Fire Spin sets. Tera Fairy gives Volcanion an improved matchup against Fighting- and Dragon-types like Iron Valiant, Zamazenta, and Dragapult while being a better neutral defensive typing and, notably, becoming immune to both of Walking Wake's STAB moves.

Volcanion slots in nicely on offensive teams, as it can take advantage of its defensive qualities to fire off intense damage. Volcanion enjoys entry hazard setters like Hisuian Samurott, Landorus-T, and Ting-Lu as teammates, as they can shore up its lack of boosting item, with Flamethrower being able to OHKO bulky Kingambit after a single layer of Spikes or Stealth Rock. Landorus-T and Ting-Lu protect Volcanion from Zapdos and Raging Bolt while also sponging physical and special attackers, respectively. Landorus-T can switch into Great Tusk and Iron Treads, while Ting-Lu switches in on Dragapult. In return, Volcanion helps both handle Weavile and Hatterene. Volcanion without Heavy-Duty Boots struggles against hazards, making Hatterene, Great Tusk, and Iron Treads desirable as teammates. Great Tusk and Iron Treads can also set hazards and check Raging Bolt, while Hatterene can paralyze foes like Enamorus with Nuzzle; in return, Volcanion scares Corviknight out. Fast teammates like Deoxys-S and Calm Mind Iron Valiant make up for Volcanion's poor Speed, scaring out faster threats like Tornadus-T and Stone Edge Zamazenta. Volcanion, in return, wears down shared checks like Galarian Slowking and Garganacl. Similarly, other special attackers like Darkrai, Gholdengo, and Pecharunt appreciate Volcanion beating down their checks like Ting-Lu and Assault Vest Hisuian Samurott. Fairy-types like the aforementioned Iron Valiant and Enamorus are excellent teammates for their ability to get rid of Dragapult and Dragonite. Steel-types like Air Balloon Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Iron Crown assist Volcanion against Kyurem. Kingambit, notably, aides against Ghost-types like Dragapult and Pecharunt, provides a strong Sucker Punch for threats like Deoxys-S, and gets rid of Galarian Slowking. In return, Volcanion targets annoyances to Kingambit such as Corviknight, Ting-Lu, and Cinderace.

Volcanion brings a niche as a strong bulky attacker that can reliably switch into opponents like Primarina and Alomomola with its Water Absorb, (This wouldn't always be needed but I think the context helps for Alo, it's quite easy to switch into it but being immune is huge) spreading burns through its powerful Steam Eruption. Sludge Bomb is used to hit targets like Primarina, Ogerpon-W, and Assault Vest Hatterene (Dropped Hatt bc Steam Eruption hits almost as hard) for super effective damage, while it can spread poison onto checks like Alomomola and Dragapult. Taunt lets Volcanion prevent set up opportunities from Dragonite and Primarina, (Dragonite does outspeed so can still DD once on it, not sure if there might be better options here.) while also preventing status moves such as Galarian Slowking's Chilly Reception and Alomomola's Wish. Will-O-Wisp meanwhile actively cripples physical attackers like Ogerpon-W, Zamazenta, and Dragonite. It pairs especially well with Steam Eruption, as usually Will-O-Wisp absorbers like Moltres, Heatran, and Gliscor, cannot switch into Volcanion safely. Fire Spin is an alternative move that can be used in combination with Taunt to trap opponents like Blissey and Alomomola to stall break incredibly well. (What move would this replace, Flamethrower?) Heavy-Duty Boots lets Volcanion reliably switch in on foes like Ogerpon-W and Primarina without dealing with hazard chip, while Leftovers can passively heal Volcanion against passive opponents like Dondozo and Alomomola. Shuca Berry can be used against Dragonite, Great Tusk, and Enamorus, tanking any Ground-type move and hit back with an attack or cripple with Will-O-Wisp. (It might be worth noting somewhere that the latter two should only be used with good hazard control) Tera Ghost lets Volcanion be immune to Blissey's Seismic Toss to potentially trap against and spinblock against Great Tusk and Iron Treads, check Zamazenta, and be immune to Blissey's Seismic Toss on Fire Spin sets. (Checking Zama is kinda nice, and the Blissey interaction should be mentioned last as Fire Spin isn't even slashed on the set) Tera Fairy gives Volcanion an improved match up against Fighting- and Dragon-types like Iron Valiant, Zamazenta, and Dragapult while being a better neutral defensive typing. (This should be noted, as Tera Ghost already improves the matchup against Fighting-types. Also maybe mention Walking Wake, since with Tera Fairy it's completely walled)

(It might be worthwhile to list an alternative, bulkier EV spread in the description, max Speed is good as it outruns Zapdos + Gliscor but something like 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spe Modest [Outruns Adamant Gambit] could be worth noting, or an even bulkier set like CTC's sample with max HP and some Defense? I'm not too sure myself though, may be good to go over some ideas for this in the Discord)

Volcanion slots in nicely on offensive teams, as it can take advantage of its defensive qualities to fire off intense damage. (Is there anything in particular these teams like it for?) Volcanion enjoys hazard setters like Hisuian Samurott, Landorus-T, and Ting-lu, as they can shore up Volcanion's lack of boosting item, with Flamethrower being able to OHKO bulky Kingambit after a single layer of Spikes or Stealth Rock. Outside of hazard setting, Hisuian Samurott appreciates Volcanion switching in on Galarian Weezing effectively, threatening a strong Steam Eruption, as well as appreciating Volcanion handling Primarina, Cinderace, and Iron Valiant. in return, Volcanion appreciates Hisuian Samurott handling Galarian Slowking and Gholdengo. (Volcanion can quite easily take a hit from Ghold and OHKO it back with Flamethrower. Generally, I don't really think Samurott-H + Volcanion are actually that great together, it's fine to mention it as a possible pairing but I don't think their synergy needs this much focus; the other two hazard setters are prob better to emphasise.) Landorus-T and Ting-lu protect Volcanion from Zapdos and Raging Bolt, while also sponging physical and special attackers respectively. Landorus-T can switch into Great Tusk and Iron Treads, while Ting-lu switches in on Gholdengo (As before) and Dragapult. In return, Volcanion helps both handle Weavile and Ogerpon-W. (Volcanion takes massive damage from Oger-W's Grass-type STAB, it's not the greatest switch-in unless Ivy Cudgel is getting baited) Volcanion without Heavy-Duty Boots struggles against hazards, making Hatterene, Great Tusk, and Iron Treads desirable as teammates. Great Tusk and Iron Treads can also set hazards and check Raging Bolt, while Hatterene checks Zamazenta, while Volcanion scares Corviknight out. Fast teammates like Deoxys-S and Iron Valiant help Volcanion overcome its poor speed, letting Volcanion take advantage of slower walls. (In what way, can Volcanion weaken or eliminate these walls for its faster teammates?)

Great work, let me know when this is implemented! Main thing being that I wouldn't mind a bulkier EV spread in the description or even on the set itself, if you have any ideas I'd definitely be open to them as I'm not too sure what'd fit best here, but I'd be down to discuss this further & with more opinions in the discord!

Sludge Bomb is used to hit targets like Primarina and Ogerpon-W for super effective damage, while it can spread poison onto checks like Alomomola and Dragapult. Taunt lets Volcanion prevent set up opportunities from Dondozo and Pokemon like (Dozo isn't typically that great into Volcanion, maybe just leave it more generic like this) Primarina, while also preventing status moves such as Galarian Slowking's Chilly Reception and Alomomola's Wish (Could maybe mention how well Taunt deals with walls like Blissey / Pex). Fire Spin is an alternative move over Flamethrower that can be used in combination with Taunt to trap opponents like Blissey and Alomomola to stall break incredibly well. On teams with solid hazard control, Leftovers and Shuca Berry can be used. The former is able to passively heal in front of opponents that can't damage it back like Dondozo and Alomomola to better leverage its fantastic natural bulk, (I think making the use case a bit more generic makes sense here) while the latter lets Volcanion tank Ground-type attacks from Dragonite, Great Tusk, and Enamorus, and fire back with an attack or Will-O-Wisp. Maximum Special Attack and Speed lets Volcanion get the jump on Gliscor, Moltres, and Tyranitar, giving oppurtunities to deal heavy damage. However, a bulkier spread that can outspeed Adamant Kingambit can be used, being able to survive uninvested Great Tusk's Headlong Rush and Offensive Landorus-T's Earthquake, while becoming a better check to Primarina, Iron Valiant, and Cinderace. An even bulkier spread of 252 HP / 112 Def / 48 SpA / 96 Spe with a Modest Nature can be used to survive max attack Great Tusk's Headlong Rush, while still outspeeding Adamant Kingambit. (The first set could technically be identical to the second as that also outspeeds Adamant KG, so I'd specify the exact investment of the first spread or combine these two into one) Tera Ghost lets Volcanion spinblock against Great Tusk and Iron Treads, check Zamazenta, and be immune to Blissey's Seismic Toss on Fire Spin sets. Tera Fairy gives Volcanion an improved match up against Fighting- and Dragon-types like Iron Valiant, Zamazenta, and Dragapult while being a better neutral defensive typing and notably becomes immune to both of Walking Wake's STAB moves.

Great Tusk and Iron Treads can also set hazards and check Raging Bolt, while Hatterene checks Zamazenta, while Volcanion scares Corviknight out. Fast teammates like Deoxys-S and Iron Valiant help Volcanion overcome its poor speed, letting Volcanion reap the benefits of defensive answers. For example, Volcanion can handles Assault Vest Hatterene and Clefable, debilitated with poison or Taunt respectively. (I don't think this makes it clear exactly what Volcanion is doing for them, something like Val doesn't want to be switching out on a check and losing its booster. Instead, breaking through these targets and other bulkier Pokemon like Gking is great, so emphasising that would probably draw a better connection & give you the chance to mention more offensive partners if you'd like)

Earth Power can also be used to hit Raging Bolt and Galarian Slowking. (Is Roar worth a text mention? Using the bulk to phase threats can be very nice.) Heavy-Duty Boots lets Volcanion reliably switch in on foes like Ogerpon-W and Primarina without dealing with hazard chip. On teams with solid hazard control, Leftovers and Shuca Berry can be used. The former is able to passively heal to better leverage its fantastic natural bulk, while the latter lets Volcanion tank Ground-type attacks (a Ground-type attack, singular?) from Dragonite, Great Tusk, and Enamorus, and fire back with an attack or Will-O-Wisp. (Is Custap worth a text mention? Bulky Volcanion drops below 25% reasonably often, and can nail would-be revenge killers.) Maximum Special Attack and Speed lets Volcanion get the jump on Gliscor, Moltres, and Tyranitar, giving oppurtunities to deal heavy damage. However, a bulkier spread that can outspeed Adamant Kingambit can be used, being able to survive uninvested Great Tusk's Headlong Rush and Offensive Landorus-T's Earthquake, while becoming a better check to Primarina, Iron Valiant, and Cinderace. (Does this bulkier spread need wisp to make creeping Gambit worthwhile?)112 Defense EVs can be used alongside max HP can be used to survive max attack Great Tusk's Headlong Rush. Tera Ghost lets Volcanion spinblock against Great Tusk and Iron Treads, check Zamazenta, and be immune to Blissey's Seismic Toss on Fire Spin sets. Tera Fairy gives Volcanion an improved match up against Fighting- and Dragon-types like Iron Valiant, Zamazenta, and Dragapult while being a better neutral defensive typing and notably becomes immune to both of Walking Wake's STAB moves. (Is Tera Ground worth a mention when running Earth Power to blank Zapdos and Bolt?)

Volcanion slots in nicely on offensive teams, as it can take advantage of its defensive qualities to fire off intense damage, stifling opponents like Alomomola and Primarina that these teams struggle to handle. (Mentioned exactly these two to start the first paragraph, feels a bit repetitive.) Volcanion enjoys hazard setters like Hisuian Samurott, Landorus-T, and Ting-lu (as teammates?), as they can shore up Volcanion's lack of boosting item, with Flamethrower being able to OHKO bulky Kingambit after a single layer of Spikes or Stealth Rock. Landorus-T and Ting-lu protect Volcanion from Zapdos and Raging Bolt, while also sponging physical and special attackers respectively. Great Tusk and Iron Treads can also set hazards and check Raging Bolt, while Hatterene checks Zamazenta (A weird example - Volcanion kind of beats IronPress sets but is scared of Stone Edge, but sets running Stone Edge are probably running Heavy Slam to nail Hatt.), while Volcanion scares Corviknight out. Fast teammates like Deoxys-S and Iron Valiant help Volcanion overcome its poor speed, letting Volcanion reap the benefits of defensive answers by overwhelming shared checks (Not sure how these ideas link together. Why do fast revenge killers as teammates help Volcanion beat shared checks?) like Galarian Slowking and Assault Vest Hatterene. Similarly, other special attackers like Darkrai, Gholdengo, and Pecharunt appreciate Volcanion beat down their checks like Ting-lu and Assault Vest Hisuian Samurott. (Would like to see a bit more emphasis on teammates that help Volcanion beat many of its Dragon-type checks like Kyurem, Raging Bolt, and Dragapult. Iron Valiant is a good mention, could split the 'fast teammates that make sure slow Volcanion doesn't let in a sweeper' and 'fairy types that deal with dragons' into two sentences. Kyurem in particular is very dangerous to Volcanion, teammates that can switch into it like spdef Corv or tera Ting could be worth emphasizing as well.)

Landorus-T can switch into Great Tusk and Iron Treads, while Ting-lu Ting-Lu switches in on Dragapult. In return, Volcanion helps both handle Weavile and Hatterene. Volcanion without Heavy-Duty Boots struggles against hazards, making Hatterene, Great Tusk, and Iron Treads desirable as teammates. Great Tusk and Iron Treads can also set hazards and check Raging Bolt, with Hatterene paralyzing opponents like Enamorus with Nuzzle, while Volcanion scares Corviknight out. Fast teammates like Deoxys-S and Calm Mind Iron Valiant make up for Volcanion's poor speed Speed, scaring out faster threats like Tornadus-T and Stone Edge Zamazenta. Volcanion, (AC) in return, (AC) wears dowm down shared checks like Galarian Slowking and Garganacl. Similarly, other special attackers like Darkrai, Gholdengo, and Pecharunt appreciate Volcanion beat beating down their checks like Ting-lu Ting-Lu and Assault Vest Hisuian Samurott. Kingambit, (AC) notably, (AC) aides against Ghost-types like Dragapult and Pecharunt, providing provides a strong Sucker Punch for threats like Deoxys-S, and gets rid of Galarian Slowking. In return, Volcanion targets annoyances to Kingambit such as Corviknight, Ting-lu Ting-Lu, and Cinderace.

[SET COMMENTS]
Roar can also be used to phaze attackers such as Kingambit, Iron Valiant, and Primarina. On teams with solid hazard control, Leftovers and Shuca Berry can be used. The former is able to passively heal to better leverage its Volcanion's fantastic natural bulk, while the latter lets Volcanion it tank a Ground-type attack from Dragonite, Great Tusk, and Enamorus and fire back with an attack or Will-O-Wisp. However, a bulkier spread that can let Volcanion outspeed Adamant Kingambit can be used, being allowing it to be able to survive uninvested Great Tusk's Headlong Rush and offensive Landorus-T's Earthquake while becoming a better check to Primarina, Iron Valiant, and Cinderace. 112 Defense EVs can be used alongside maximum HP can be used to let Volcanion survive maximum Attack Great Tusk's Headlong Rush.
