Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations.
  • 2026 National Dex Circuit information.
  • Best of three, double elimination.
  • This tournament will use the standard National Dex banlist, which can be found on Smogon's strategy dex.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown! or the SmogTours server
  • SV cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • National Dex-specific mechanics.
  • Replays are required starting from round 2.

The bottom line is that I let you know beforehand that id be a bit late, then messaged you once I got here (prior to the :30 minute mark most importantly) to which u immediately tried to claim act and argue ur case when we also could’ve just played . I’m still claiming act

Again u dmd be “ok” 2 mins before deadline for our game and ontop of that you dmd me 8 mins or so before our set time that you would be late I gave you the benefit of the doubt and you still happened to not challenge me before I called act. Learn some time management skills

Implemented Post in thread 'Reasonable time to ask for a reschedule'

We are going to implement this for official tours.

If a player asks to reschedule with reasonable notice and reasonable scheduling accommidations, that is enough to void the previously scheduled time and have the players work out a new scheduled time.

The definition of reasonable is obviously, unfortunately, subjective, but at minimum must inlcude at least 24 hours of notice and multiple alternative times to be valid. The final decision of reasonable will rest with the host (with consulation of the Tournament Director team, if necessary); again, this is for official tournaments only...
