In my opinion, the top 5 GSC UU players are
DAWNBUSTER ,
Estarossa ,
BeeOrSomething ,
MrSoup , and
evakiyama! in no particular order. With that being said, 2 of those 5 are on this team and 3 are on my second place team. So why do I have the Bob's Discount Feraligatrs ahead of the Bell Tower Belly Drummers? Two reasons. Firstly, Feraligatrs manager
Bohrier has limitless and bountfiul aura, and will almost certainly be winning Smogon Classic XII. So such a PREP GOD should be able to carry the team to the promiseland
Secondly, and more importantly, GSCUUPL hypeman Abraham Lincoln died on April 15, 1865. On May 4, 1865, he would be reincarnated into future high-ranking Soviet official Mikhail Tskhakaya. Because he was reincarnated, he must be better than Honest Abe, perhaps being Matchup Fish Abe or even Scyther Abe. Why does that matter? Because two reincarnations later,
Autistic Soviet would be born, to take the Bob's Discount Feraligatrs to the promiseland through his neurodivergent takes on communist theory (seriously!). So yea, that's a lot of ammunition... we are the best.
2. Bell Tower Belly Drummers
Evakiyama!, MrSoup, and BeeOrSomething. That is a lot of top-end talent. And they drafted RBY demons
Wanted in 49 States and
Tree69420 . And all-gen demon
cyberacc . And
jus . Who will almost certainly become an activity loss at some point within this four-week team tournament. And
LB ,
magialice , and
Tricknology are not to be trifled with. Strong team top to bottom. Powerful. Unfortunatel,y as far as the Bob's Discount Power Rankings team is aware, they have no connection to Abraham Lincoln. Maybe next year, guys!
3. Polkadot Bow Pinsirs
Prior to the season, I criticized Pinsirs management for refusing to ask people for their favorite arthropod. They seem to have listened: lice are arthropods, and also insects-- that means
LustfulLice has a shockingly strong connection to the team branding. Not only that, but the seeming romantic affinity of this player should grant them a distinct advantage over other GSCUUPL teams, because speaking for myself, us GSC players do not get around very well... if anyone wants to ghost my Hinge chats, please DM me, they don't give ICBB on there! Anyhow... this team is pretty nice. I really wanted
Shengineer . Unsure about certain ppl's activity levels given talk pre-auction, but that's for the managers to figure out.
4. Game Corner Granbulls
Romantic affinity is a boon in the case of such a free-flying man as LustfulLice. Unfortunately, in
jam 's case, he was too good, so he's tied down by a wife and son. That means he'll be doing such unproductive things as working and childcare instead of prepping for
GSC UU + Typhlosion. Which nerfs his team significantly. I don't hate the army of players, in fact
leoperi should in particular prove a potent player in this tournament. But the lack of a dedicated, NEET hikikomori manager should truly hurt this team in irreparable ways... last place.
