WIP
Hey guys, it's been a minute. I was kinda keeping back until I saw the Ability slate, but I feel like I may have something here!
Basically it's a punk rock condor. This bad boy likes to pester and heckle everyone just for the hell of it. Groups of them gather nightly and tear the streets up with their rabble-rousing, while they argue over nothing with everyone. When they get sufficiently upset (doesn't take much), their blood physically heats their body up to the point it boils, causing them to release this stored thermal energy as one big concussive blast.
I really liked the hunched postures and threat displays of california condors, they basically unfurl their wings and hop and chase away others, and they look perfect for the more traditional leather jackets, while also still kinda looking lanky underneath, the more stereotypical punk body type. Had to give him his neat lil mohawk and sunglasses feathers too, can't be non-conforming without them. The beak blast inspiration of the design is taken from the fact that condors get a bright red when they get emotional or upset, so I just figured I could use that rush of blood they get as justification for a steam-powered blast. This dude is basically right at home in any moshpit. Still tinkering with the color scheme, as it's a fine line to balance with pinks, purples, and greens traditionally associated with punk stuff to not evoke poison. I also was worried initially with Mandibuzz comparisons, but hopefully I did enough with this guy to give him enough of a unique silhouette and appearance compared to Mandy. Also some Hawlucha fingers, because him being able to point and laugh is an integral part of his design I think.
He thinks Scrafty is cool, but Toxtricity is a poser, and Obstagoon needs to take his sleeping meds it's time for bed grandpa.
