Welcome to the Unofficial Metagames Grand Slam! This is a Type A seeded single elmination tournament featuring the 8 players who collected the most points among the UM Opens. This tournament counts towards the UM Circuit Championship at the end of the year. Each match will be a match among all the UM tiers in a Best of 5 format. The higher seed selects which tier is played first, and the loser of each game selects the next tier played. Each tier can only be selected once, and is a single game, with the exception of 1v1. When 1v1 is played, it should be played as Bo5, and will count as one game for the purpose of the set's Best of 5.
Should a change to the tier occur mid-round, it will take place at the start of the next round. Each game must be played in its respective tier on Showdown or Smogtours.
