Kinda(?) new to this, but looked at a rillaursa team: https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/trailblaze-ursaluna-webs-ho-peaked-pb-1752-278.3731344/, and tweaked it a bit for what i thought fixes what im struggling against (and ended up getting rid of the whole core)
Ogerpon (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Defiant
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Ivy Cudgel
Banded ogerpon was the first change over rillaboom to help with dragonite. I think its better at abusing webs and can use tera to help against bad speed matchups. Defiant makes it able to win entire matches against opposing webs or court change.
Ribombee @ Focus Sash
Ability: Shield Dust
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sticky Web
- Moonblast
- Stun Spore
- Psychic
Standard ribombee, nothing changed from that template. Psychic can help 1v1 against glimmora. Moonblast can hit dragon types. Sometimes I need to fish for paralysis to maintain webs which is annoying. Hatt and deoxys-s are annoying cuz of taunt, and how the rest of my team are not very fast outside webs as they have offense-boosting natures.
Gholdengo @ Air Balloon
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Make It Rain
- Focus Blast
The same set carries over, except with max speed and special attack. focus blast makes me get cancer every time i click it cuz gholdengo will sometimes just miss over and over. i tried tera blast but it is too weak/i dont tera ghold that often anyway.
Samurott-Hisui @ Lum Berry
Ability: Sharpness
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Razor Shell
- Ceaseless Edge
- Sucker Punch
I changed black glasses to lum berry. lum berry helps against status spreaders, especially against will-o wisp cinderace, however sometimes i lacks damage. Otherwise the set stayed the same
Great Tusk @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Headlong Rush
- Ice Spinner
- Close Combat
My second change. When i was trying out the original team there were no hazard removal so i decided to replace ursaluna with this standard tusk spin + 3 attack set. Booster is to try to replicate ursa's attack power as best as possible
Iron Moth @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Fiery Dance
- Sludge Wave
- Dazzling Gleam
I made quite some changes to moth. I didnt find much use in energy ball, so i switched to tera fairy + tera blast to somewhat help with dnite. Psychic wasnt hitting a lot of things either, so i used sub to get some free turns with fiery dance. Because i was running webs anyway, i changed moth to booster SpA instead of booster Spe for better kill power
anyway, im hanging around at the1400s with this team. any suggestions?
