Gen 4 is one of my favorite generations of all time and even within generation 4 ,
has always held a special spot in my heart. So I decided that using it on a trick room team could be alot of fun, and with that set up it could allow another trick room mon in
to have its time to shine. With that being said here is my attempt at that vision.
:
With access to a cool ability in solid rock and really good physical defense,
provides a good combination of bulk and power to the forefront. It having a rock type stab move that can do crazy damage into just about anything from being able to oneshot max hp spdef
to one shotting
even through multiscale. The second move on this ice punch to target into
and
as well as just giving broader coverage in general. The third slot is for Supercell slam to hit into
and
without having to recharge like after rock wrecker as well as to just git water types like
. The last move slot is for a powerful stab earthquake and with tera ground it's meant to dish out damage to everything ; being able to 2 shot phys def
and
as well as
.
:
has a really cool ability called mega launger that amplifies all pulse based attacks, and with good spdef and specs this thing can hit like a truck. The first moveslot was mostly to just have a powerful stab attack to target into pretty much anything outside of
and av
and
as with its spA it is good enough to hit pretty much anything else hard. The second move slot is aura sphere, and with its ability and tera fighting it is able to 2shot
as well as of course score the ko on
as well. Alot of people seem to think that
is a good switch in into
so dragon pulse is great for targeting into that and
as well as just having good coverage. To target into pokemon that can be slightly difficult for this team to deal with in
and
the final moveslot is taken up by dark pulse.
:
To have a pokemon that outspeeds massive threats like
whilst still being able to set up trick room we have
. With enough speed to outspeed max speed timid
even
provides the best of both worlds for a team that can use it. To have a powerful stab attack that can bypass the protect of
and
and the substitute of
Hyperspace fury felt like the perfect addition to this pokemon. To be able to target into
and
as well as have passive recovery, the third moveslot is psychic as we want this pokemon to be a threat into physical and special attackers in general. The last moveslot is of course trick room to set it up and we're tera fighting to enhance drain punch and resist sucker punch.
:
:With good bulk and a good special attack stat
was the perfect addition to the team. To resist banded
(probably the hardest pokemon for this team to handle) We are tera grass defensively. To set up the trick room and flip around the speed priority the first moveslot is trickroom. For a powerful stab attack that allows us to target into some of the harder to deal with pokemon like
as well as amplify our special attack stat the first attacking move is meteor beam. To be able to target into threats like
and
that second moveslot is of course earth power. To add another stab option to be able to hit hard generally the final attacking move is moonblast.
:
With good bulk the ability prism armor as well as elite coverage the next trick room setter on the team is
. To amplify it's special attack and target into pokemon like
as well as just having another coverage move we have Meteor Beam. To take advantage of the spA boost as well as the stab boost to hit into threats like
and break through unaware mons like
and
the next attacking move is photon geyser as it can also ignore abilities. For the last move we have heat wave to hit into mons that can be annoying like
and
. we have tera rock to amplify meteor beam although with how rarely that was used I think I'd recommend either tera fire (to ko
) or tera grass (to resist wood hammer from
) .
:
To make sure hazards are more difficult to get up as well as having another trick room setter,
does a perfect job of serving that dual role. To apply as much offensive pressure we're running a life orb set so that nothing in the tier is safe. To target into av
and
as well as to have a stab option to target into the opposition we have psyshock as the first attacking move. With amplification from tera fire (as well as to resist
and
) as well as to target into
with a strong fire type move the next slot is taken up my mystical fire. To regain some level of speed control the third move slot is reserved for trick room. For the Final move slot we have draining kiss for a stab attack that allows for passive recovery to counteract the life orb chip the last moveslot is taken up by draining kiss.

I'm sure that a better player can get this team higher than this regardless though this team was very fun to use and I hope you enjoy it, Have a great one y'all!
