Anime Thread (It's just like, a mini Japan)

JJK episode was pretty cool. I distinctly remember disliking Sendai Colony in the manga (mostly because one fight taking up 7 chapters was unbearable especially when reading weekly) but i think an extended episode with the intro cut out was just about perfect pacing wise.

It's just good shonen honestly. It makes me feel like i'm a pre-teen watching dragon ball again. Out of the episode my favorite cuts were probably the showdown between Yuta and Kurorushi, the cut of Ryu using his CT to make a boxing ring, and the reprieve during the final 1v1 (on top of, obviously, the 3-way domain clash)

A lot (like a LOT) of people I saw complain about the episode had issue with Ryu's CE being blue like the rest of the cast. The reason for this? Probably just the fan animations that had his CE color as orange. But I don't mind the blue. I do, however, thing it would have worked a LOT better if the background wasn't also blue-tinted ~70% of the time. Had they been predominately gray (e.g. like during Jogo vs. Sukuna), Ryu's attacks would stand out a lot more than they do in the episode. Part of it could also be the dimming that they do when they release it for TV and is brightened in the Blu-Ray editions. But alas, Ryu's attacks look diluted, and I just have to accept that Fate/Strange Fake E06 is going to be my favorite episode of the winter season.

It sounds like a massive issue, but it's really just a minor nitpick. There's a lot of good stuff that aired the past 2 months, and Sendai Colony is undoubtedly one of the best. It's probably my favorite JJK episode of the season but Maki's episode is a really close second. I did find megumi's episodes inordinately funny, between Takaba and the reciept guy being named "Reggie Star" (register) and all the irony in Megumi doing anything after 3 years of basically getting beaten down by the entire community. Bonus point to the part where Reggie spawns a motorcycle and puts on a helmet between cuts. Great stuff.

Well, Netflix kept my spot of where I was in My Hero Academia and now has up to season 7, but is missing season 6. Netflix is weird.

I watched "I Hate Anime" by I Hate Everything again. I don't know if it's because I've watched the videos so many times, but I really couldn't bring myself to care. Though there's some truth to it, it felt really nitpicky.
