ZUWC is a ZU team tournament inspired by the World Cup of Pokemon. After discussion in the ZUWC Discussion Thread, this year's tournament will feature ORAS ZU for the first time! As such, the format will be as follows: 4 SV / 1 SS / 1 SM / 1 ORAS / 1 BW. Teams will comprise 8 starters, and 2 to 4 substitutes. The number of teams is undecided at the moment, and will be based on signup numbers.

Based on the previous edition of ZUWC, the projected teams are as follows:

  • Latin America
  • Nordics
  • Spain
  • United Kingdom

Note: Just list your country, and, if you are in the US, your state. Borders for teams comprising more than one nation, as well as the US teams, will be drawn at a later point based on how player signups shake out. As has been done in previous editions of the tour, the ZU moderation team is open to merging smaller regions that lack the playerbase to form their own team and are willing to team up.
