Greetings everyone, bello figo here.
So I've been playing Pokémon for the most part of my life and I've been on this site for a while now, and I finally decided to start a YouTube channel. I've always wanted to do this and I kept putting it off, so at some point I just said forget it and started recording haha.
The channel is called BELLO FIGO TV. The whole idea is to post about competitive Pokémon content across all generations and formats, from old gens like ADV, DPP, BW, GSC and RBY, to Doubles formats like VGC and whatever else I feel like covering. I genuinely love this game in all its formats and I want the channel to reflect that.
I'll be honest, I'm not a professional editor and I'm still figuring things out as I go. I also need to buy a microphone haha. But I'm putting real time and effort into this and I care a lot about making content that's actually worth watching for people who enjoy the game.
So far I've uploaded 4 videos: a breakdown of the SPL XVII finals covering the DPP, SV and SM games, a commentary of my OSDT run (where I brought three completely useless Pokémon), a tournament set in RBY 1v1 which I think some of you will enjoy, and a statle.fun challenge where I tried to win in SV OU with a random team. More is coming every week: commentaries and analysis, team building videos, ladder sessions, retrospectives, and probably some Pokémon Champions stuff.
I'm very open to feedback,if something isn't working, if the commentary is off, if there's a topic you'd want to see covered, tell me! And if there are specific formats, players or moments from competitive history you think deserve a video, drop them below, I'm always looking for ideas and I'll credit whoever suggests something I end up making. Also if anyone wants to do a collab - whether that's a commentary, a recorded set, a discussion video, anything - feel free to shoot me a message. Always down to work with new people from the community!
