Pending Have DPP teambuilder show what pokemon are in PU and ZU

PU and ZU didn't exist back in gen 4, hence why no pokemon were tiered as such. Its possible there are unofficial versions of these tiers created after the generation ended years ago, but as far as I know there isn't official tiering for PU and ZU in gen 4, hence why things are the way they are.

If tier leaders formalized lists to distinguish the two tiers could they be implemented? Both DPP PU and DPP ZU have been apart of their team tours for awhile and it would be great for people to have an easier time building. I believe the last time it was mentioned the unofficial status was why it got dismissed, but that was awhile ago. Is there a different policy reason as to why not? Oldgen tiering feels much more normalized now with different suspects and such. Stats for nu

Well yes, but PU and ZU didn’t exist in gens 1,2,3 or 5 either, yet it still shows what pokemon are in those tiers in their team builders. Why is 4 the only exception?

DPP PU may have been created by a "speculative" method originally, but at this point that is just a fun history fact - to require the tier(s) to be entirely redone by VR-based tiering after so many years of history would clearly be unreasonable. Now it's an established tier in a good shape, that's been a part of PU team tournaments and Classic for ages, and is in practice no different from any VR-based retro tier that has builder support. There's no "precedent" to be set by including PU and ZU in the builder, I can't imagine any new lower tiers being formed by non VR- or usage- based methods, no oldgen lower tiers are ever going to be in official tournaments in any capacity and I don't see any need to make these distictions in the teambuilder anyway, it's just a tool for players after all.
