Borders for teams comprising more than one nation, as well as the US teams, will be drawn at a later point based on how player signups shake out. As has been done in previous editions of the tour, the ZU moderation team is open to merging smaller regions that lack the playerbase to form their own team and are willing to team up.

ZUWC é um torneio de equipes ZU inspirado na Copa do Mundo de Pokémon . Após discussões no tópico de discussão do ZUWC , o torneio deste ano contará com ORAS ZU pela primeira vez! Assim, o formato será o seguinte: 4 equipes SV / 1 equipe SS / 1 equipe SM / 1 equipe ORAS / 1 equipe BW . As equipes serão compostas por 8 titulares e de 2 a 4 reservas. Observação: Basta listar seu país e, se você estiver nos EUA, seu estado. As fronteiras para equipes compostas por mais de uma nação, bem como para as equipes dos EUA, serão definidas posteriormente, com base no número de inscrições dos jogadores. Como já foi feito em edições anteriores do torneio, a equipe de moderação da ZU está aberta a unir regiões menores que não possuem jogadores suficientes para formar sua própria equipe e que estejam dispostas a se juntar a outras.
