My personal thoughts as an official manager for DPL, a game in DPL cannot hold 0 weight when zRyan is a manager. This is a clear paradoxon statement. With that said, this incident, especially after the comments made by @Wesleyy about the tournament holding

good evening/morning everyone, i'm making this post as i would like to bring attention to some undesirable behaviour that occurred in this tournament that should not go unnoticed, this kind of behaviour as we will see is (in my opinion) nothing short of childish and doesn't belong in a competitive environment.
DISCLAIMER: the goal of this post is not to slander the player in question, but to warn others and document the behaviour and the events that happened, please do not go out of your way to harass or make fun of anybody because of this post, everybody can have a bad period in their life and act in a certain manner or bother others as a result of said manners despite not intending to do so; a few bad interactions don't define an individual so please don't hold any ill prejudice against this player.
Before Week 2 even started, my opponent for that week: Wesleyy contacted me asking to rfn (right fucking now) our match before i had even played against my opponent for Week 1, that's already a bit strange, but i thought nothing of it at the time; finding it slightly amusing, i posted a screenshot of it on my team's Discord server, and then i simply ignored the post. One of my teammates (completely unprompted) simply let Wesleyy know that it doesn't work that way as the week wasn't even out yet, and he was met with a rather snarky "Yes it does?" as seen in the screenshot below.

once again, no real harm here, just a funky exchange, but the important stuff happens a little later in this post.
On Monday, when Week 2 came out, Wesleyy replied to the initial post they made on my profile with a simple "?", then, as i always do when scheduling, i simply replied with a short and concise day and time asking if that works for them, to which Wesleyy simply agreed without a problem, this is what would generally be called the ideal scheduling conversation: time suggested, opponent agreed, reply with a confirmation of seeing the message, done; all sunshine and rainbows, both parties are happy, splendid.

and it's all smooth sailing from here right...? WRONG!
On Tuesday, a little after the start of Truthankamon vs mielke (replay), i log on Smogtours with my main account to spectate the match and cheer for my teammate Truthankamon. Then, out of nowhere, Wesleyy PMs me on Smogtours, kindly asking to play our match after Truthankamon vs mielke is over, finding it funny how Wesleyy tried to rush playing our match for the second time, once before the Week was even out and after we had already scheduled, i post the following screenshot on my team's Discord server.
View attachment 823036
after doing that i simply ignored the message, and started watching Truthankamon vs mielke (replay).
And that's where the fun starts: it's at that point that Wesleyy decides he was not gonna take silence as an answer, and goes out of his way to invade the ongoing game between Truthankamon and mielke to once again, kindly ask me if i would desire to play our match after Truthankamon vs mielke is done, as seen in the screenshot below.

(here my teammate that was currently playing the match Truthankamon sees what's going on, and even takes his time to advise against accepting the request, jokingly calling it a "trap").
after that happened, i once again found it amusing, and posted the screenshot above on my team's Discord server. After Truthankamon vs mielke (replay) was done, i simply ignored the requests made by Wesleyy and went on about my day.
On Wednesday as i was just chilling while being logged in on Smogtours, out of nowhere Wesleyy PMs me once again, asking me to play early for the third time, which i replied to and told them that if there was a problem with our scheduled time, we could've just rescheduled, it would've been fine for me, to which they replied something along the lines of "yes let's reschedule to now", i simply refused and went on about my day.
I unfortunately do not have a screenshot of that instance, as at that point i was fed up with Wesleyy repeatedly trying to play early especially after we had already scheduled and no longer found it funny enough to be worth sharing.
And then, Thursday came and what followed was what prompted me to make this post.
I was again simply logged on Smogtours, when once again, out nowhere Wesleyy PMs me, and the for the fourth time they ask me to PLAY EARLY.
That was the final straw, so after what had happened on Wednesday, i had to deliberately ask to stop being asked to play early, and reminded them that we scheduled for what was at point, tomorrow, and that's when Wesleyy's tone changed and started lashing out a bit, as seen in the screenshots below showing the full chatlog of that day.

at this point, it became childish, and to recap everything up until this point, Wesleyy did the following things:
that chatlog as seen in the screenshots above was quite the mouthful, so much so that i posted the screenshots on my team's Discord server again, not because it was funny, but because it was disrespectful.
- Tried to play the match before the Week was even out and before their opponent (me) had even played their Current Week's Match.
- Asked to play early on 3 separate occasions totaling 4 times, invading another match in the process.
- Pressured multiple times and mocked their opponent (me) for not accepting to play early despite them having accepted the suggested day and time.
- tried devaluing the importance of the match (and of the tournament as a whole) because there's "nothing on the line".
after some of my teammates saw the contents of these screenshots, they expressed their opinions on it and one of my Managers Maxisc23 decided to warn Wesleyy's Managers.

(apparently Maxisc23 still contacted Wesleyy's managers even if i told them to do it after the match, but that's alright)
and that's it for Thursday, eventually Friday came and so was the time for me and Wesleyy to play our match. (replay)
Both me and Wesleyy showed up on the time we scheduled for and we smoothly played our match.
After the match, as i usually do with my opponents (unless they log out faster than i can PM them) i like to have a little chat with my opponent to briefly discuss the match, and without me even asking Wesleyy mentioned the scheduling and said how it clashes with their IRL scheduling.

I will reiterate myself from the beginning of this post, the goal is not to slander or punish the parties involved, it is purely for documentation purposes on how NOT to behave in a competitive environment, PLEASE do NOT harass or ridicule or anything of the sort Wesleyy, i'm sure they didn't intend to act this way and they must've been influenced by external factors.

kind of left a bad taste in my mouth; me being a lesser-known and perhaps less desirable player than Wesleyy who is a Manager in more important tournaments like ADPL IX and previously BWPL V, and even won more important tournaments like BWLT I whereas i just barely failed to qualify in BWLT II and thus will get zero recognition for my efforts.
reading those messages at that moment made me feel like i shouldn't be giving it my all even when this is one of the most important tournaments i'm a part of right now, because "there's nothing on the line" and because if this is how my opponents treat this tournament, like a complete joke, then it feels like my wins are being devalued, simply because my opponent doesn't care enough to actually try, the reality is that there are other players in this tournament just like me that are looking to give it their all to have a chance at being recognized and eventually be picked for more important tournaments where there is maybe "nothingsomething on the line" and that holds "0SOME WEIGHT".
whoever you may be, thank you for reading, and have a nice day.

this is genuinely crazy, that players like Wesleyy can act like this with no repercussions. to do all of this trying to play early just to get ABSOLUTELY SMASHED when the game was played. i’m glad you showed the light on these evil players in the community so everyone can see how he truly is. he is an evil man. once long ago he promised me a spot on his team in the prestigious national dex farmers league, and then he ended up not buying me. i felt betrayed. lied to. i felt worthless. like i didnt mean anything and a word didn’t mean anything. it’s good the REAL wesley is finally being showed so everyone can see the light of his actions and behaviours.good evening/morning everyone, i'm making this post as i would like to bring attention to some undesirable behaviour that occurred in this tournament that should not go unnoticed, this kind of behaviour as we will see is (in my opinion) nothing short of childish and doesn't belong in a competitive environment.
