Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
That's new. I've heard of in-game events resetting in poorly-made ROM hacks like this (see Merritt's Dark Rising LP), but this is the first time I've seen it actually fuck up someone's save file. Sorry you had to deal with that.
And I thought Dark Rising was bad... If a no quality hack deleted my save file, I'd just quit. Going through something like that once is funny, but having to go through a second time... Ugh...
What happens if you beat the Level 100 Team? I'm guessing another soft lock.
Hello, I'm here for part 13. Today's part will include some wackiness. Get ready.
Yung Dramps: Yeah, no idea why Wattson is a member of the Inquisition. They never explain why. No comment on the legendary part.
Mega-Pokebattlerz: Yeah, I had no idea that could happen, either. I've only played this hack twice, though. It's not that bad though, because I can use an even faster speedup now. Makes grinding a lot easier.
CTNC: Like I said to the previous person, It's not that bad. It took me maybe not even two hours to get back to Dewford. Soloing with Swellow and then Hariyama made it incredibly easy. If you defeat the level 100 team, nothing happens. Wattson just stays there until you lose to him. I also don't think you can leave unless you lose to him, so that could be another potential soft lock, lmao.
In the last part, I solved the murder mystery, and beat the soft-locker himself Wattson. In this part, I'll see what's going on in Mauville, and proceed to whatever area is next.
The bike shop and game corner don't have anybody in them. That means no bike for me, unfortunately.
Route 111 is a no-go until I get Rock Smash. Really need to get that.
Route 118 is a no-go as well. Guess the creator realized that giving me Surf early kind of messes up the normal progression of the game. I'll have more to say about that in later part.
Route 113 has some zombies in it. Only thing of note is that these two have a zombie Poliwhirl. There are also chefs, but that's to be expected at this point.
Apart from the normal stuff, this route has some interesting encounters. Ninetales is an ok Pokemon, and gaining access to one much earlier is really nice.
But you guys don't care about that, do you? You're more interested in the second Pokemon aren't you?
Calfby is a Normal type Pokemon with 45 base stats across the board. It has three seperate evolutions that it can potentially evolve into. It uses the same method as Tyrouge, with it's evolution being based on your Attack and Defense. I catch both it and the Vulpix. I don't really plan on using either right now, but I might use them later.
I didn't notice this until now, but the Pokedex entry ends on a cliffhanger. I also just realized that they're talking about it's evolutions.
Oh boy, now I've got to save Mr. Wall Of Text. They couldn't give me the badge though, could they?
This place is right next to New Mauville, and it's where I got soflocked. This guy won't let you past if you've beaten him in the gym, and rematch Wattson. This game is a big mess sometimes.
This area has some interesting encounters. Ralts can be found at a high enough level that you don't have to deal with early game Ralts, and Beedrill has a few changes that are worth talking about.
The first thing you'll probably notice is the nickname. I was watching a review of a movie that Nicholas Cage starred in when I caught it, so I stuck with that. The second thing you'll notice is the level, this Beedrill is from my current save, not my old one. Ok, in all honesty, most of you probably noticed the ability before anything else. That's right. Beedrill was buffed in this game. Not only can it potentially have Pure Power, it also had it's stats changed. Ok, it only got a buff to it's speed. It went from 75 to 99. Giving it a new stat spread of: 65/80/40/45/80/99. It also got quite a few moves added to it's moveset. Beedrill is one of the few Pokémon in this game that got pretty big buffs. I forgot until now. I catch both. I won't use Ralts, because I plan on using a different Psychic type. I might use Beedrill.
You can also find Kirlia here. They're a lot more rare though. You can also find Shroomish here, but some of them are higher level than the level they evolve at, meaning they won't have Mach Punch, which sucks.
Before proceeding, I put the egg in my party for reasons that will be known later.
Still have Cut trees this far in the game, ugh.
There's a wild Chikorita here, I'm pretty sure you can come back later in the game and catch it. I'll add it to the list.
Wtf is that entrance lol.
Oh boy, I guess I really am famous to the Inquisition.
There were a ton of entrances and I wasn't sure which one was the right one, so let's just go with the first option.
Ok. There's just a random person in here. Let's see what they have to say.
Well, that didn't really explain much, did it? Also, your overworld sprite looks nothing like your battle sprite. In the overworld, they look like Archie, but in battle, they look like and off-brand Miror B. from Pokémon XD. But that's not important. This cave didn't lead anywhere so I'll just go back and take . . .
what. ok. Yeah, this place is a kind of a puzzle. Every time you enter a cave, it takes you to here, and you have to go all the way back and find another cave, and beat a member of the Deadly Seven until you find out how to enter the base. It's really stupid. What makes it worse is if you don't have any repels, you'll end up having to run from so many encounters.
There's the second one. 2/7 found.
I hadn't shown any of the Pokémon that the Deadly Seven had before now, because none of them really have anything interesting, save for one of them having a Calfby. But this guy has a Fakemon that we haven't seen yet. Kenchira is a Normal/Flying type Pokémon with the abilites Speed Boost and Guts(?), and the following stats: 36/76/54/9/26/125. This thing is pretty powerful. It can dish out a lot of damage, and will most likely outspeed your entire team. It's really frail, especially on the special side which makes it end up more like Faceleech, a mon that can potentially sweep your entire team, but dies in one hit. With him defeated, I have found 3 of the Deadly Seven.
That makes 4.
For some reason, instead of just taking me to the sloped exit, I was sent here. When I enter the cave, I get sent to the cave area that leads to said sloped exit. This is such a stupid area.
How tf am I supposed to get that. Why do I keep questioning this game?
5/7
6/7.
That makes 7/7. Let's finish this.
Wait what. I found and beat all seven of you guys, so you should tell me where the entrance is.
what. WHAT. YOU'RE CALLED THE DEADLY SEVEN. NOT THE DEADLY EIGHT. NOT THE DEADLY 345. THE DEADLYSEVEN, This is so dumb.
This guy doesn't give me any answers either. Guess I found 8/?
And now there's ANOTHER one. How many of the Deadly Seven are there? This guy doesn't even battle me. So now there's nine members.
Technically you're the tenth person I've met, but who cares at this point. This game could say that 2+2=75 and I would just go along with it.
Their leader is the one who was writing Haiku.
Hopefully that means that there is only ten members of the Deadly Seven.
Thank god they're gone. I hope I don't ever have to deal with them again.
And now to save Gleis.
That will do it for this part. In the next part, I'll finish exploring the Isle Of Calm. I know I haven't been uploading as frequently as I used to, but doing so burnt me out. I'll try to upload these semi-frequently. Have a nice day.

Pinnacle of game design right here. 10/10 game of the year 2019.
Jokes aside, those Deadly Seven guys renind me of the Hexagon Brothers from XD with their inability to tell how many of them there are. They're not anywhere near as funny though. The glitches, on the other hand...
They're a group of ten people, if the information in the fellow ROM hack Periwinkle (Special Blobbos Edition) is to be believed at face value. The Deadly Seven make an appearance there for whatever reason.
Hello. I'm back for part 14. Today's part will be filled with a lot of ridiculousness.
Mega-Pokebattlerzz: Yeah, there are a lot of glitches in this game. some are more gamebreaking than others. I never thought of the comparison to the Hexagon brothers though. These guys are just random unlike the brothers.
Mova: Never heard of that hack. Maybe it's another hack made by the guy who made this one.
Edit: Fixed a few grammatical errors. Also working on part 15 atm.
In the last part, I learned that Gleis had been captured by Inquisition and made my way to the Isle of Calm. Today will be part 2 of the Isle of Calm.
Instead of being a normal health kit, this is a "government-approved' one. Why that text change was necessary is beyond me.
And here we get to one of Snakewood's most infamous rooms. Why's it infamous? Well. . .
If you step on the wrong tile, you get sent back to the beginning. There is also only one correct path forward. If you don't know the path, you could end up here for a long time. The other thing that makes it annoying is that the Trick House theme plays over and over. It's really dumb.
oh dear god why.
To the observant out there, or to those watching these parts in succession, you may have noticed that Bruno is a level lower than he was in the last part. That is because I went back on a different save to capture the text after beating the Deadly Seven. It does make it inconsistent, but I played this part quite a while ago, so I can't go back. It doesn't really matter though, because these guys are so easy to beat.
Okay?
Oh so we're saying random things for no reason? Got it.

I should post that to the poetry thread.
Well, that should be it for the Deadly Seven, now let's -
oh dear god why part 2: Electric Boogaloo.
But little did you know, I am a god. Mere walls do not concern me.
And I will do it thrice if I have too.

I urge all of you reading this part to check out my Rom Hack.
It's called Super Ultra CrystalClearRubySapphire. The final boss is a Potara fusion of Wallace and Steven, named: Weven! Their final Pokémon is a level 100 Fakemon called Elephant, a ??? type Pokémon with the stats: 255/1/255/1/255/1. It has the ability Wonder Guard. It also has a unique move called: Cheese Bread. A Normal type move with 255 base power, - accuracy, and 99 PP. It's totally balanced!
A bed is nothing but a trap. It lures you in with it's comfort, and then when it has you, it doesn't let go. It possesses you, making it impossible to escape it's grip. Even more so when it has help from it's partner in crime, a blanket. You become wrapped up in it's warmth, it's comfort, never wanting to leave. Truly the world's greatest evil.

That's it for the Deadly Seven, however, they share something in common with Wattson. Can you guess what it is? It's a really hard question. You all probably know what I mean. You can re-battle the Deadly Seven. It's only the second row however. All you have to do is . . .
Go back to about here, and go back down, and boom, free EXP. I don't know if there are any game breaking glitches like Wattson, so I would be careful. As far as I can tell, once you leave the room, or if you get teleported back, they won't rematch you. This is the reason I added Potential the Mysteryegg to my team in the last part, so I could train him up here. I guess I could have trained him against Wattson, but with these guys there is a medkit about 1/3 of the way through them all, unlike in New Mauville where a decent amount of walking back and forth is necessary to heal at the Nurse Joy. If you fight these guys enough, you pretty easily max out your cash, which is nice. I didn't know that the Deadly Seven wouldn't rematch me, so I went on ahead without finishing grinding my team up.
I eventually make it through the board room, beat some fodder level Inquisition members, and proceed to the next area.
OH NO! YOU MEAN I HAVE TO FIGHT A BUNCH OF FORCED WILD BATTLES, WHATEVER WILL I DO?
Just kidding. They're all really low leveled. Each panel has a specific Pokémon that will always appear infinitely. The two you'll see the most are Geodude and
Hombone. Considering this is their base, it explains why it seems like all they have are those two Pokémon. There are a couple of interesting encounters, one of them that is rarer are Phanphy. Another encounter on the other hand . . .
One of the encounters is a Beldum. Unlike the other encounters, this one doesn't respawn. You can't find them anywhere else in this game. So basically this thing is essentially a legendary, even having the bullsh*t catch rate. Metagross is very powerful, so I'm definitely adding this to the team. It takes many attempts. The first two I get were Modest and Timid nature. And because of the player I am, that just would not sit right with me, meaning I had to soft reset and try again. I eventually get one with a Sassy nature, and name it Steven.
And this is about as far as I got on my original save. I feel like I should explain what happened. If you try to enter the Isle of Calm, there's a guy at the beginning that won't let you pass until you beat him in Wattson's gym. So I left the Isle of Calm, without completing it, went back to go grind my team against Wattson, and when I tried to re-enter the Isle, the guy who let me in before, wouldn't let me anymore. I guess me beating Wattson reset a flag or something. This guy wouldn't respawn in the gym, I'm also pretty sure I tried the same thing that made Wattson respawn and it didn't work. The emulator I was using was on my phone couldn't use cheats, so I tired to be a 3000 IQ individual, and transfer my rom to my computer via an sd card. It worked, however I no longer had access to my save file. Returning the rom to my phone allowed me access to the rom, but the save was gone on my phone too. So that's the story about how Wattson broke my save. However, like I've mentioned the speedup on my computer is many times faster than my phone ever was. It took me two hours to get back to Dewford, if it even took that long. So PSA, either have save states (which my phone also couldn't use), have a backup save, or have a walk through walls cheat handy.
That will be it for this part. This one was a nightmare to complete. Unfortunately, the next part will be a little bit of filler, so I'll try to get that part up tomorrow, which will be Saturday. Have a nice day.

Just what the fuck is this hack? The writing and storytellng's all over the fucking place...Yeah it's Derp Rising all over again....Gosh....There's no way our Ultra Moon hack can be as bad as those hacks...No, I know it's not as bad as them. It has problems for sure, but damn. Nothing compared to this trainwreck and Derp Rising....
Anyways, good luck with this buggy and messy hack. Hope you can get to the end without losing your save again.
I love this game. There’s so much stupid humor and wittiness that it puts me AND elj’s classes to shame, and that’s saying something.
Also, will the legendaries be... zombified?
You know, how will they handle the legendaries actually?
Can’t wait for the next stupid installment of this brilliantly funny and stupid game to come out.
Hello, I know I mentioned that I would upload a short part today that would be a sort of filler part using images from my new save. I looked, and there's like, 5 images lol. So the next part will be a full part. Sorry about that.
Hello I'm back for part 15. It's been over a month at this point now. Let's get into this.
King Feraligatr: I don't know what this hack is anymore. Hopefully Merrit's playthrough of Dark Rising and this lp will teach you what NOT to do when working on your hack. I wish you luck.
Mega-Pokebattlerz: Yeah, I think at some points the creator wants this to be a serious ROM hack, and other times I think he just did whatever he wants.
かたわれ時: I'm glad that you're getting enjoyment out of this lp. The people who read this lp are the main reason I haven't abandoned this lp. As for the legendries(not sure if that's the correct spelling i'm really tired), you'll just have to wait and find out. Also, uh, adult Groot I guess.
In the last part, I made my way into the Inquisition base on the Isle of Calm. I then proceeded to lose my save file because of dumb programming.
Before starting this part, I have a few things to show from my new save.
The first is that Paras can have Rain Dish, renamed to Aqua Heal. I haven't had a chance to test it out yet though.
The second thing is that you can find Solrock in Solar Caverns, the renamed Granite Cave. Solrock and Lunatone have one change in this game that I will show later.
Thirdly, I managed to get revenge on the illegal Persian from the earlier part.
And finally, you have to go into the Seashore House and fight the chef.
I also trained up Potential the Mysteryegg and evolved him into Secretegg.
In one of the tiles, you can find Shuckle, and just like Beldum it's a one time only encounter. I catch it because why not.
And now I'm in an area where none of the enemies except the first guy battle me. Doesn't matter anyways, these guys suck.
And now I have two paths. The left or the right. Obviously the right way is to the right.
what. WHY DOES IT SEND ME BACK HERE. WHAT IS THIS GARBAGE. I don't waste any time with this crap and reset. Fun fact, you can actually get softlocked here. And no, I don't mean the same way I got stuck, but an entirely different softlock exists in this area.
You see this CUT tree? The area I'm at right now is behind this tree.
And here's where you enter the Inquisition Base. This is before the tree. You see where I'm going with this right? The area after the tree where you first meet the Deadly Seven is a dead end. So if you don't have anyone with CUT, you can get stuck here. That's totally not bad game design or anything. Seriously though, why does this stupid place have two different softlocks? Let's just ignore that and finish this stupid area.
Back in the base, I go left, and now have to make ANOTHER choice. They're not going to punish me for not guessing correctly though. No way. Not this game. Not Snakewood.
Oh boy. I guess I picked the wrong one. And now there's Pokémon tiles. I wonder what's inside. I'm so excited.
Oh boy! Another battle that you aren't supposed to win! I love this game! This is the best game ever made! Yep. it's another one. That thing is called Shaderu, it's a Ghost/Normal type with the ability Levitate, and 100/160/100/100/100/140/100 stats. It also has stab Shadow Ball and Double Edge. And it's level 80! Being serious, this thing is stupidly overpowered. it has one weakness, which is Dark, but Dark moves are special, and with it's 140 Special Defense, it's not dying from Dark moves easily. I reset and pick the correct path this time.
This guy is weird. He says I won't be able to get past the Shaderu traps, but there aren't any more traps.
Oh boy time for the leap of faith.
Oh boy here I go.
Wow! I can walk over it! No way! Now you might be thinking that this is some sort of stupid maze you can't see right?
It isn't. You just walk left until you hit a wall, down until you hit a wall, and then go down the stairs. Considering the rest of this base is filled will stupidity and insanity, I don't mind.
And now I'm in a cave? Guess the insanity isn't over yet.
I show this grunt because for some reason he has a stupidly high leveled Pokémon. I mean, Bruno is over leveled, sure, but the fact that this guy has a higher leveled Pokémon than the Deadly Seven is weird.
Hmm. I wonder if this scientist will be important later. Besides, why don't you just use a paraglider to get to him and then climb back out. Oh wait I'm thinking of Breath of The Wild, an actually good game.
I defeat these two in a double battle and replace Leech Life with Eruption. (I think lol). Also, yeah, it's an egg that can erupt. Makes no sense but nothing in this god damn game makes any sense anyways. (Since it's on my mind, I'll mention it here. After I've uploaded the last part, or in the last part, I'll give a sort of review of this game. And let me tell you, I'll have plenty to say about this game that I haven't already.)
Not gonna lie, it's been so long since I played this part that I forgot that rescuing Gleis was even my mission. Also he somehow is on an island surrounded by lava. Weird.
Wtf is orangeade. Is that a weird name for orange flavored Gatorade? Now all I'm thinking about is the Mountain Berry Blast flavor of Powerade. But now I'm getting off-topic.
He's telling the truth. You can literally Surf on something that looks exactly like lava.
oh boy more things to do in this terribly designed area.
I proceed onwards and make it to the scientist. Before I talk to this guy, I'd like to show you guys something.
I don't have anything to say. I think the picture speaks for itself.
Oh boy, now I have to fight this guy whose name is probably a reference to something that I don't know because I'm uncultured swine.
I don't really remember what happened during this fight, but it wasn't that difficult, so I didn't take many screenshots. I did take a screenshot of this though.
This image is how much damage Faceleech was able to do with Poison Fang. It's crazy how the first time you fight Faceleech, it's this overpowered monster that can destroy your entire team in one hit. But now that I have access to Pokémon that resist Poison moves, it hits like a Zigzagoon.
Or, or, I have better Pokémon?
I have the Dynamo Badge. You guys know what that means. I CAN FINALLY USE ROCK SMASH. HELL YEAH BABY! I CAN GO BACK AND CLEAR SOME ITEMS OFF THE TO-DO LIST. . . wait. I forgot. I DON'T HAVE ROCK SMASH. F*CK. I'll have to get that first.
On the way back, I find and catch a Slugma. Once again, because I can. Oh, also remember how I mentioned Paras has Dry Skin in this game? I was looking through my party and happened to notice something interesting about my Paras, which is now a Parasect.
For some reason, Mewtwo? the Parasect doesn't have an ability. I know I didn't change anything, it just doesn't have an ability. Before the next part, I'll check Gen3 Tools. I'll put it right at the beginning.
OH YEAH. WE GOT ROCK SMASH BOYS. LET'S GO SMASH SOME ROCKS.
That will do it for this part. I apologize again for the unexpected hiatus, but I will promise that the next part will be up shortly. Have a nice day.

Another entertaining episode of Snakewood (to be honest I think I’m the only one who appreciates the wit and humor of it). Especially the orangenade being Lava part (orangenade is the orange version of lemonade I think?).
You know, rescuing Gleis made me remember the first time I met him.
Wait a minute, why are flashbacks appearing? Am I really just going to flashback to previous things that happened instead of showing new content? That's a terrible way to pad out a series.
In all seriousness, that little bit was a little jab at Naruto (No offense to anyone who likes the show) because today's part will be nothing but filler. As some of you know, in the last part, I got both the third gym badge and Rock Smash, so that's what todays part will be about. (Edit from later: there will be minor progression into Route 111 as well) Let's go.
Edit: Fixed some mistakes, and added an extra section.
Edit 2: Fixed the images in part 16.5
かたわれ時: I think my biggest issue with the humor is that it comes out of nowhere. The beginning of the game starts out as this serious story about Hoenn during a zombie apocalypse three years after Ruby and Sapphire. But then around Dewford it all kind of goes to sh*t and it seems like the creator just started doing whatever he wanted. For example, I'm going to quote Yung Dramps: "Woah woah woah, we got regular old dragon fights? In a zombie game with demons and floating heads?" It kind of comes out of left field. That's not to say I don't enjoy this game, but it's an odd tone shift. Again, I'm glad people are enjoying the playthrough, Snakewood is a really interesting game, despite the insanity.
As I mentioned, this part is filler.
As mentioned, in the last part I got the third badge and Rock Smash. That means I can remove a few items from the To do list. I'll strikethrough items for right now, but if the list gets too large, I'll remove them entirely. Before I do any of that though I actually make a small amount of progress into Route 111.
Hmm. . . so the troll will be similar to Greevil from XD?
Alright. Let's see how strong this guy really is.
Why are you using the sprite from gen 1, that's a terrible sprite. (Also didn't screenshot some of his Pokémon so I had to go back on a different save [again])
Yes, you saw that correctly. Loudred gets Jump Kick in this game. Why does it get Jump Kick? Idk. Ask the creator.
Your best is a Machoke? I mean, Machoke is a strong Pokémon, no doubt, but it's not like I'm trembling in fear or anything.
So in total, he had a Golbat and a Linoone in the first fight, that's two Pokémon. He had a Loudred in the second fight. A Pineco, Spinda, and Hombone in the third fight, and a Machoke in the fourth and final fight. That makes 7 Pokémon. Maybe if he had 6 Pokémon, and then pulled out like, 3 more in a second fight it would have been an interesting fight. Also, another unnecessary name change. The Brain Link is the Exp. Share.
I give Steven the Exp. Share and rematch Wattson to level him up to be on par with the rest of my team. (Wattson is the best source of exp in this game atm.) After that, I go and complete some of the items off of the To do list.
The first thing I check out is the Charizard. There's nothing important about it other than a few lines of text.
Next, I go back and talk to this girl on Route 108. That makes 4 Broken Hearts.
I then break the rock leading to an item in Solar Caverns. It contained the TM Discharge. I don't know if I mentioned it earlier, but yes, Discharge is in this game. It is pretty much completely unchanged, except that it acts like Surf instead of Earthquake and only hits the enemy Pokémon but not your ally Pokémon. I'll save it for later.
I then return to Route 116 and break the rock where a Cut tree used to be. I beat a trainer and get a second Shock Wave TM for no reason.
I then return to Rusturf Tunnel and find this guy. I now have another thing to the list, beat the Inquisition's Five Ninja. I actually don't battle him right now because he has level 50 Pokémon lol. I was just fighting level 33 to level 36 Pokémon, and then this dude has level 50 Pokémon. Wtf Snakewood. Also, Sevicious is a Fakemon evolution of Seviper. It has the stats: 80/110/65/110/75/80. It's a decent upgrade for Seviper.
I go back and fight this Chef. You can fight him immediately after beating Wattson, but his Gardevoir has Double Team, Calm Mind, and Psychic. This thing can very easily sweep unprepared teams. I also get a Broken Heart, making it 5 now. (I also think it's kind of funny that this guy is named Akatsuki considering the Naruto reference earlier. That was completely unintentional) Considering it was a while since I played this part of the game, and looking at the levels in the screenshots, I must have gone and done a second grind session to get Steven a few levels higher.
That will do it for this part. This is just a filler part after the Isle of Bullsh*t and the Inquisistion "I have bad puzzles" Base. Next part, things start to pick up a but in the story. Have a nice day. Hopefully I don't return to this thread and find a 300 page debate about Naruto.

Down where Regirock is located in the originals are a few NPCs. They don't do anything other than battle you.
As a matter of fact, my RockKrabby fainted fighting this guys Magcargo. It's actually kind of strong and has interesting moves like Substitute and Heat Wave.
Here we have the replacements for Gabby and Ty. They fulfill the same purpose as their counterparts in the original games. You know what that means, this isn't the last time we'll see them.
I also decided to show Bruce's text as well.
Oh boy, it's Alicia. And some other guy is here as well.
Guess it's Famine up there. Things are getting awfully weird around here. Things have been crazy ever since Dewford. First there was a Dragon, then zombie chefs, there was the whole thing with Wattson, the Isle of Calm and the Inquisition Base. Now they're telling me that Alicia is my ally? What's even going on anymore.
Now this is ACTUALLY the end of this part. Have a nice day.
Hello everyone. So I'm working on part 17, and there were like, 20 images in total, so I'm going to add those images to part 16. I'll add it to a third hide tag called 16.5. I'm also going to mention that I have screenshots all organized up until part 24, so all I need to do is upload these parts. I honestly don't know how this even happened. Have a nice day.

Reading this feels more like a trip than an actual pokemon game. I don't know how you managed to finish the inquisition base with these stupid deadly seven (or whatever their number really is). I probably would've been pretty tilted at that red floor part. But it is very entertaining (and confusing) to read so thanks for sharing this "experience" with us.
I'm here for the part 17, for real this time. Some of these parts may be a little shorter than others have been in the past, but I find it easier to upload them in small segments.
Shizuki: This game is a trip. I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but sometimes I think the creator of this hack just did whatever he wanted, which is fine but I would at least acknowledge that fact. Honestly, if this was my first playthrough of this game, I'm positive that I would have raged at everything in the Inquisition Base. The Inquisition base and the Isle of Calm is easily one of the worst designed areas in this game in my opinion.
In the last part, I went around and explored some areas that were hidden behind Rock Smash rocks. I also made my way into Route 111, where one of the Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse is located.
The two chefs on the hill have one Snorlax each. If I wasn't overleved they could have easily been a problem to deal with. But anyone who is familiar with this game, or this playthrough knows that this game doesn't have the best level curve.
The man at the top is Famine, one of the Four Horsemen. I'll post the text that he is saying below, in quotations, just in case anyone can't read his text. Yellow text in a desert, so stupid.
"Oh? Who's this, then?"
"I see. You must be the one who defeated my sister and ruined our demon invasion in the west. If you don't mind me saying, you look very familiar. Have we met?"
His sister that he is referring to is Pestilence. She was a boss that I beat back in part 4.
She also had blue dialogue for some reason.
"Oh . . . so many questions. Fufufu . . . It really is you. I never thought you'd survive that attack. As for you brother . . . Well, you cam to the right place. He was here once. He discovered my little pet, and would have defeated it had we not captured him and his friend in time."
"Fufufu . . . You always were funny when angry. LORD GRAVETRIC always used to say so. Bah. I've I've had enough of this. ALICIA, destory him.
He then leaves. I guess he was too afraid to fight me himself. He knew that my overpowered level 3000 Pokémon would take him out in an instant.
(She also had a Sneasel like in the last two fights)
Alicia was no problem at all. Right now, things are flip-flopped from the beginning of the game. In the beginning, a lot of trainers were higher leveled than me, and were challenging. Now everything is cake. But don't you worry, this won't last forever. Also, you may be wondering why Alicia's Banette is using Karate Chop. That is because Banette is Ghost/Fighting in this game. I don't know why, it's like Hariyama being Fighting/Normal. Her Banette is also illegal, like every other boss fight in this game.
And now things are getting interesting. Alicia is apparently my ally, and is working against the Horsmen? This is getting confusing. I hope I get answers soon.
Oh boy, the phone is ringing! I wonder who that could be?
Oh wow! Professor Birch! I never would have imagined that it would be him! I guess the creator must have forgot that Birch was a character for a little but there.
It was! It was a blast! The Isle of Calm is my favorite area in Snakewood!
More unanswered questions. Why doesn't anybody just answer my questions in this god-damn world? Now we've reached the end of the part, but before I end this part, one more thing happened that I want to show you guys.
That right there, is in fact, a wild Golem. Pokémon that evolve from trades can't evolve in this game. So in order for players to be able to access these Pokémon, they're now rare encounters in the wild. I don't plan on using Golem, but he's a cool Pokémon so I'm gonna . . . Edit: Machoke evolves with max happiness, while Kadabra and Graveler evolve at level 45.
It blew up.
That will do it for this part. In the next part, I'll go to this "Monastery" place. Have a nice day.

In the last part, I ventured further into route 111 and encountered Famine, one of the Four Horsmen of The Apocolypse. I also fought Alicia again, who didn't prove to be too much of an issue. I also discovered that Alicia is actually on my side, and is acting as a sort of undercover agent. In this part I will be going towards a place called the Monastary.
On route 112 I find a Machop and call it IDK because I really can't think of anything.
Unfortunately, the ski lift is gone, so I have to go through Fiery Path instead.
What is that. That's just a recolor of the Demon from earlier in the game. Was the creator too lazy to make a new one or something?
Another illegal Pokémon? Come on now.
His other two Pokémon don't prove to be too tough.
Welp, let's head into Fiery Cave.
Wait what. Why is the cave frozen? How did a hot cave freeze in such a short time?
One interesting thing is that you can find Snorunt in this cave. That's cool because Snorunt normally isn't available until really late in the game. If only Glalie had higher stats and evolved earlier. It's worth pointing out that levels don't really mean much at this point in the game when you can just rematch Wattson over and over. If anyone wants to play this game and make it harder, then banning the Wattson glitch is a good start. I catch the Snorunt and call it IDKA or "I don't know anymore". At this point nicknames failed to come to me.
We've got some strength boulders here. Added to the list.
One thing I forgot to mention at the beginning of this cave is that there are ice puzzles. Because of course there are ice puzzles.
The ice puzzles are as annoying as always. This ladder takes me outside of the cave. What's weird about that is that when you exit a cave via a ladder, you'll always come out of a cave entrance. Pokémon is weird sometimes. I want to grab that item over there, so I re-enter the cave.
The item is a TM. For Blizzard. Giving me the TM for Ice Beam would have been better, considering Blizzard is unreliable outside of Hail.
Like I said, the ladder takes me directly outside a cave entrance.
Sage's Slope is the new name of Jagged Pass. Up until this point, this hack followed a similar path as the original games, so it's nice to see that the creator changed it up.
This NPC's text is misleading. The monster that he is talking about is back in route 111, to the right of where Famine was. HOWEVER, if you try to approach the "monster" it won't let you pass. So basically, ignore this guy.
A little further down is some grass. There's actually a Pokémon here that I want to add to my party.
During encounters, Steven learned Psychic.
I catch a Spoink and name it Sad. Anyone who knows anything about Spoink should know why. I spend a decent amount of time looking for my new team member but eventually decide to proceed onwards.
Are those the arms from Mega Medicham or something lol. Birch did say I was supposed to meet a Sage. Some of the sprites in this game are actually pretty good, and I think this one is one of the better ones.
The level curve is starting to catch up a little. This Sage and the Frost Demon from earlier are at the same level as Wattson's Raikou. And now that I'm thinking about it, his Raikou probably should have been around level 29. That thing was way too high leveled for that part of the game.
There is also no way to get into that building.
In the grass are Machoke. I catch one. I really have no idea why I catch half of the Pokémon that I do, I don't even plan on using them.
Here we have a new move in this game. It's an alright move, unlike High Jump Kick it doesn't have any recoil, so that's nice.
And here we have another custom move. A move with a higher freeze chance than 10%. People who've played competitive RBY are shaking. Even more so considering it's a 50% chance. That's not overpowered at all.
Back in the Frigid Caverns, I find a Sneasel. I actually don't catch it, surprisingly. I'm only showing it because Sneasel isn't in the Hoenn games. It still has the same garbage Sp. Attack as in the original. I'm glad that this hack added in Pokémon that you normally wouldn't be able to get normally. To be fair, most competent rom hacks should do that anyways.
Outside of Sage's Slope is an interesting glitch. It's just a texture glitch. We can add this to the list of glitches.
My man.
And here we have an NPC that can't be reached. First was the house, now this girl, what's the point of adding places and characters if you can't interact with them. I guess Ruby and Sapphire did have the house in Mossdeep with stairs that were blocked.
And here we have another glitch. Just kidding, you can actually go through these trees, all Link to the Past style.
At the end of the tree maze is this girl. Will she be important? Will she give me a level 100 Magikarp? Will she tell me the secret to the insanity that is Pokémon Snakewood? Let's peep this out.
That's not a Totodile lol. If you beat this lady, she gives you a Totodile.
She also has a high leveled Meganium. Told y'all the level curve would catch up eventually.
I think you forgot the word "it's". Let me correct you: "TOTODILE will be pleased to call you it's TRAINER."
I hope I'm right lol.
So while the insanity wasn't answered, I did get a Totodile so that's neat. I don't think I'll use it, but you never know.
Before entering the next area, I want to head back and find the Pokémon that I'm searching for.
After a while, I eventually find it. If you remember back to a previous part, I challenged a member of the Inquisition, who also happened to be one of the Five Ninja of the Inquisition. He had the evolved form of Seviper, called Sevicious and it seems to be decent.
I catch it and call it Snek, because I'm unoriginal. Just like it's evolution, Seviper is Poision/Dark in this game. I think it fits it perfectly. Quiet is a half decent nature, and I don't feel like spending even more time searching for another Seviper. Poison Slash is just a buffed Poison Tail.
I find another Golem. I unfortunately do not have a recollection of what happened, however considering how things went last time, it probably blew up.
I train Snek up to the same level as the rest of my team. Poison Fang isn't that bad of a move, but I prefer the power of Poison Slash. I also don't learn Swagger. I've never really been a fan of that move in casual runs.
Guess we're at the Monastery now. Interesting place. I'm pretty sure this is the first town/city in Hoenn that's been completely changed, so that's actually really cool
Weird statues and sages. Definitely an interesting direction to take. I'd almost forgot this was a zombie apocolypse.
Jim Fats just sells herbs. They function exactly the same as in the base game (with different names, obviously).
NOW I can go and defeat the monster. And we will find out what it is in the next part but first . . .
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, MAY I PRESENT THE BEST DIALOUGE IN ANY VIDEO GAME EVER.
That will do it for this part. Part 19 will be out in a couple of days. Have a nice day.

This is normally where I crack a joke about things going off the rails, but honestly this segment looks like an actual videogame. No lame jokes, no nonsense events, just you going on a quest to a cool monastery town. That said this whole monster thing doesn't really fit with the A plot, feels more like filler. Also ouch at that ice cave.
かたわれ時: That actually makes sense, I just thought it was funny.
Yung Dramps: I never thought of it, but this part of the game does kind of feel like a real game. Also, the monster kind of fits into the main plot. The monster is under Famine's control.
In the last part, I made my way to the Shaka Monastery. In this part I will go back to the desert and fight this "monster" that everybody keeps on talking about.
Before that, I try entering one of the buildings in the Monastery. But for some reason they won't let me in. Fine then, keep your secrets
I head back to the desert where the monster is. I'll give you five seconds to guess what that is.

OH MY GOD ITS A SHINY AERODACTYL. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. NO WAY. DO YOU GUYS SEE THE SHINY ON THE SCREEN? I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I GOT ONE ON MY FIRST RESET.
But not really. This Aerodactyl is hardcoded to always be shiny. It's pretty dope. This Aerodactyl is why all the way back in part 3, my reply to Champion Leon was "Me too ;)".
I catch it because I don't care if it's always shiny. Most likely because of the coding, every Aerodactyl is a Lax nature, which isn't that great, but It doesn't matter. I probably won't use this anyways. Despite coming at a higher level in this game, Aerodactyl in FireRed is probably better. At least in that game you teach it Rock Slide and Double-Edge from tutors. In this game it's moveset isn't all that great. I can teach it Rock Tomb, which I got from Roxanne's gym, but that's about it. I might add it to my team later on.
And that ends that quest. Although, I think it would be cooler if the Monastery was a secret area that you could find.
k of the mountain"
And now I can go past that sage that was right next to the exit from Frigid Pass.
My man. Now let's go fight some demons! This should be fun.
*Insert Micheal Scott "no" clip here* Yep, they're back. I know some of you guys are thrilled, while others are groaning. Let's just get through this.
Unlike the last time, these guys are actually a bit of a threat. They have high leveled Pokémon, and they've evolved them too. They only have Pokémon from the same evolution line though, so if you can beat one of their Pokémon, the rest shouldn't be a threat.
Have you ever realized that people say 1987 as 19-87 instead of one thousand nine hundred and eighty seven? But then you get to 2014, and people say it both ways? #Showerthoughts
Have you ever heard the story of Darth Plagueis the wise?
My ma- wait I already said that.
Ey cen't spel eethar.
I thought of a funny joke! What has two arms and is purple?
I thought of a new ability for my main character in the anime I'm making. I don't have a name for the ability, but I know what it does:
It increases the users strength and speed by 1000
It increases the power of the users techniques by 1000
It allows the user to sense their surroundings
It allows the user to fly
It gives the user telekinesis
It allows the user to heal any wound inflicted on themselves and on others
It gives the user to copy the opponents abilities and master them just by seeing them once
It allows the user to summon shadow like creatures that can transform into the opponent that it is fighting
It allows the user to resurrect the dead
It allows the user to summon many deity level monsters and creatures
It creates an invisible energy force that surrounds the user and can fight off the users opponent, and can only be seen by users of this ability.
It allows the user to teleport to a dimension that only they can access.
It gives the user eternal youth and immortality, it also makes the user immune to all diseases, and makes the user ignore the temperature around them
It can create a visible avatar around the user that can protect the user from damage, and fight for the user
It gives the user immunity to one-shot attacks
It gives users access to an attack that can kill any opponent
It can summon this ability if the user is near death, for no cost
It gives the user infinite stamina
If more than an hour has passed, then the users power and speed will be increased by 500 times every minute
It gives the user immunity to the effects of space
It can send a near death user that is using this ability to a special dimension, where the user will be stuck for 24 hours, after which the user is brought back to the place where they encountered their near death scenario, and increases the user's power and speed by 1000 times
It's totally balanced right? It think so. I think an anime where the user can use this ability would be a really fun and exciting anime! I mean, come on! That ability would totally make for some fun interesting and exciting fights! ;)
Anyways, that will do it for this part. The next part will be out before next Friday. If it isn't then I owe everyone 5 dollars. Have a nice day, "A Couple of Days" signing out.

In the last part, I beat the "monster" that they mentioned, which ended up being a hardcoded shiny Aerodactyl. I then made my way to Mt. Chimney where I (unfortunately) encountered 1the Deadly Seven. Today I will make my way up and see who's at the top.
But first, I guess these screenshots got into this part instead of the last one lol. Ok, NOW let's see who's up there.
Oh, it's that lady from like part 10 or something. For those who don't remember, that's Chloe, the leader of the Inquisition. She's also a Taoist. I just thought I would bring that up because she showed up like, once.
"Fufufufufufu. . . What an amusing thought. You think you can destroy me? Let me show - You! What are you doing here?"
Bitch, don't you know who I is? I'm Wraith. I already beat one of these fools before.
"Pathetic. And here I thought you might prove to be an interesting opponent. You TAOISTS are nothing to me."
"You defeated ALICIA, even weakened are you were by my crippling sandstorms. You are a formidable foe. . . . I shall fight you when I am better prepared."
*Famine leaves*
Things are getting really confusing. One minute someone is my enemy, and then their my ally, and vise versa. I don't know who to trust anymore. Next you're going to tell me that Professor Birch is secretly been the big bad guy this whole time. Or what if I'm the bad guy? I don't know.
Cool, I can enter the tower now.
But that will be in the next part. That being said, that's the end of the part. Sorry that it wasn't an interesting part, but I really don't like uploading parts that are really long and take me forever. I want to make sure that I don't lose interest and just stop uploading these. On a more positive note, I actually like this segment of the game. Once you leave the stupid base of garbage game design (the Inquisition Base), the game actually gets interesting. It feels like and actual Pokémon game. There's interesting areas to explore, you meet some new characters that feel like real characters and not jokes, and quite a few twists. But anyways, I'll try to get the next part out in a couple of days. Have a nice day.
