[OVERVIEW]
Out of all the Swords Dance Silvally formes you may choose from, only Silvally-Grass can OHKO Unaware Quagsire. That feat is notable on hyper offense teams, and Silvally-Grass is also great at pressuring defensive staples like Wishiwashi, Regirock, Sandaconda, and Jellicent. Some passive Pokemon like Ferroseed and Eldegoss struggle even more, possibly lacking any means to deter its setup, and at +1 Speed, Silvally-Grass has to the coverage to clean most teams. What is missing from Silvally-Grass’s arsenal is the strength to get past Doublade and defensive Poison-types. These roadblocks are huge concerns for Silvally-Grass, as it risks never securing progress if Quagsire and Gigalith can just switch to Doublade and Weezing with minimal risk. There's also the downsides to the Grass typing, which include susceptibility to status, entry hazards, and, without boosts, faster revenge killers such as Ninjask and Sneasel. Offensively, there's also competition with other Silvally types like Fairy and Ghost, which fare better outside of bulky matchups.

Flame Charge is crucial for cleaning late-game, and it’s also necessary for hitting Grass- and Steel-types like Ferroseed and Togedemaru. Rock Slide nails most of what Multi-Attack can’t: it OHKOes offensive Charizard, and it’s good coverage versus the likes of Ribombee and Galarian Articuno. Specially offensive sweepers like Turtonator, Meteor Beam Archeops, and Nasty Plot Mespirit are some of the most essential teammates for Silvally-Grass. They force out the likes of Doublade, Weezing, and Garbodor while also benefiting from Silvally-Grass checking Gigalith and Sandslash. While not necessarily getting past these walls themselves, sweepers like Ribombee and Sneasel may force enough damage onto Poison- and Steel-types that they succumb to +2 Silvally-Grass. Additional physical sweepers like Dragon Dance Scrafty and Swords Dance Doublade benefit from Silvally-Grass getting past Quagsire, and they are also good at forcing damage against shared checks, namely Poison-types.
