Like you said it is complicated. But once you get is set up it is easy.
Were you able to save the .pkm files?
I wish there was a way you could save the files then I could just upload them and trade them to you.

If you are able to download the two programs that I metnion in that pokesav2 PM, then you don't need the pokesav GTS, you can upload the .pkm files using your own computer and wireless connection.

The hardest part is making sure you get everything just right so they are legal. I always have problems with Scizor, so if it does not pass the hack checks, I will redo it.
Sometimes if you just chose the wrong move you can use a TM or the move relearner to fix it.
