That sounds good. Perhaps we should make it 1/4 for the higher rank and 1/2 for the lower rank. Also, keep in mind that if everyone starts with 100, this will not work.

If it's a tie, nothing happens.

Here's how I think we should do it:
Everyone starts with 100 points. (the king of the hill starts with 110)
In someone's first battle (as of now) the winner gains five points, and the loser loses five points (this applies only if at least one of the battlers have a 100 rating.)
After the first battle, here's how things will work.
Let's say there are two battlers:
One with 105 rating and one with a 115 rating. If the 105 guy wins, here's how we count points.
Start off with the higher rank- 115- and subtract the lower rank, 105. 115-105=10.
If the lower guy wins, he gains that many points, and the higher guy loses that many points.
If the higher guy wins, then he gains half that amount rounded to the nearest whole number. (in this case, 5) The loser then loses that many points.

A couple things-
#1- I've made a few minor changes to my team, but I'm not 100% ready yet. I'll tell you later if these changes are final, and I'll PM you the changes.
#2- I think we need to keep a battle record for everyone- as in their total wins/losses, ranking (I'll explain) and team, just like on PO.
#3- I think we need a point ranking system for BABA. If you want to hear more, tell me.

This is just if you have the time; could you replace Heatran's air balloon with a choice scarf? It's ok if you can't but I'd rather have a scarf. Perhaps it will also help it pass any hack checks, though I doubt it.
