well i think it's obvious that NU is allowed in UU, and both tiers are allowed in OU. but if you want UU with BL, you say "UU with BL". ;)
it's pretty much understood that BLs are banned if you ask for UU. ;)
well it's a little confusing to refer to it as "New" or "traditional" these days, since the tier was overhauled like a year ago. these days "UU" means a battle using the current UU tier list and BL list. no need for the "New" clarification any more.
