made a brand new team, centered off a gyarados sweep.

That was what I was trying to avoid, using the same 6 Pokemon as everyone else is boring. And actually, Arcanine and Entei are fire types with priority. Granted, no one uses them in OU for a reason, but they could be a possibility with proper support. Metagross also is a pretty decent steel type, but the problem there is that with a line up of Breloom, Starmie, Metagross, Mamoswine my team has a HUGE weakness to Volcarona and sun in general.

honestly, it was more of a "i lost to a guy who used flash cannon starmie". My problem with Jumpluff is that it's too fast for its own good. You can Sleep Powder once, Leech Seed once, etc., everything but do direct damage.

I've noticed in my previous uses of Techniloom that I never really had the opportunity to use a SD. So I figured that if I put Stone Edge on it would give me good move on a predicted switch. (like from a Ttar to a Dragonite). Plus, I was planning on running a bulkier loom, witha spread of 134 HP/252 Atk/124 Spe. Cause going 252 Spe is just a waste, as nothing notable is outsped.

Starmie seems like a good addition to the team. and that is already 2/3 of a FWG core. So now a good fire-type would be a nice addition to the team. I also would like more priority.

Or I could ignore the fire type and focus more on the priority. Like a Mamoswine, Scizor, Infernape, Dragonite, Weavile (maybe), Hitmontop, or Metagross. Mamoswine seems good cause it can take down dragons.

Lol friendlier would be appreciated. I was thinking this would be more like we bounce ideas off each other until we create the team, but either way works.

This is just me talking now, but when I have built balanced in the past, I never really centralized, I actually gave each member a job to do and certain things to counter. But who knows, that may have been exactly why my teams werent as strong as I wanted.

Anywho, back to what you were saying. Alright lets see... flying-types counter Breloom pretty cold. (Even when mine carries Stone Edge). So an electric-type synergizes pretty well also.

Hmmm... actually, Kyurem seems to synergize pretty well with Breloom. As does Thundurus-T, Zapdos, and the Latis (though they lack the Ice move). Starmie also does a very good job synergizing Breloom. Politoed is in a similar boat.

Honestly that jumpluff needs to go. It can't do anything :(

I've seen your posts throughout Smogon and you seem to be a very qualified team builder and battler, so would you like to partner up with me to build a team? The goals are simple: Have a team that can easily counter most playstyles; that isnt threatened by a single pokemon; that uses some less common pokes (looking at UU, RU, and NU); and hopefully can use Techniloom (as it is a favorite of mine, though this isnt necessary).
