Metagross is probably what I would use, as it does beat almost anything I can think of lol.
Bullet Punch/Meteor Mash/Earthquake/Stealth Rock. As much as I love Explosion, and the fact I can blow up on Swampert, I would probably be better off saving Metagross for late game to check Mence/Latias or something.
Ok, for my new Bulky Offense team, I am convinced Metagross/Heatran/Swampert are like the best possible leads I can use right now.
I dislike Empoleon lead since it depends on Hydro Pump for all of its kills, and I am not completely sold on Infernape either. Basically, I want a bulky, reliable lead, which can check stuff late game, while setting up rocks early game.
I was also considering Roserade as my lead for Bulky Offense, since it is built around resistences, and Bulky Offense is great at forcing switches which means Toxic Spikes can be quite helpful.
