Alright, Your Horseness. My primary reason for being baffled about Galvantula is that I have in the past made it work (although I would say Galvy is B Rank tops, given its typing does still leave some sore spots). My Karenite Experimentations have usually yielded positive results (such as my Dusknoir > Dusclops sojourn, reminiscent of DPP OU), which even though I lose I still get a good sense of some Pokes (although I do find a majority of Ghost-types to still be average in practice, even if I can make adequate use of 'em). The only time where my Karenite shenanigans have failed me was when I tried to use Fraxure in RU, and that's when I realized its Speed tire among other flaws (like my Fraxure set not having Taunt so Ferroseed couldn't T-wave my axe).
Oh well. At times I feel like I want to be R4D1C4L, which is my primary reason for sticking to RU despite its increasing brokenness (after Porygon-Z, there was a time where RU was least broken, but it still had some volatility which makes the casino game of Craps look stable by comparison). UU's also heading down that road, but at least Roserade has been adapted to such that I don't find the Grass-type to be excessively centralizing anymore (although it is kicking Virizion's ass pretty badly, and the only other Grass-type I feel I can make good work with is Whimsicott when it comes to UU, primarily because DAMN IT FEELS GOOD TO BE A PRANKSTER). I tested stuff like Zangoose, Dusknoir, and Vespiquen with mild success (but admit that each of these would be C Rank realistically), so I thought I'd do well wtih Galvantula. Then again, it reminds me of the times I tried to use Cloyster in OU. And those were some pretty OUCH days.
