  • You and your NFC East love disgust me.

By the way, while it probably wasn't that impressive, didnt i tell you the Patriots had the best offense in the NFL after week 1??? Now, the Falcons had scored lots of points and the Saints and Packers are still around so it wasn't that easy to predict. I just understand how TEs are the future man. WRs are too inconsistent. With an offense built around the TE you can really cut back on the "off days". I think that was what Belicheat was thinking too. Consistency through the short passes. I was just admiring that offense. How long do you think before teams realize it and start copying do you think?

How many Sunday/prime time games you guys had? How many next year you think? How many do you think the Giants will get?
I still think Andy the coach is better than Coughlin the coach. Reid just tries too hard with the running of the team.
You know, one of the games i want to watch is Skins vs 49ers. Because like you said, its centered around the run game. I think it would be an awesome game to watch. And really i want to see Griffin get blasted. Also, the only reason it works is the QBs legs. If Eli or Brady tried it i bet you it would fail miserably. So yeah, it can't be sustained. Or the QB would need to be changed regularly to remain effective. Imo the Skins are screwing up Griffin as a pure passer. He is going to come crashing fast when defenses dont have to worry about his legs. And yes i think he is a mediocre passer. We won't find out for a while though. As his legs will let him destroy defenses for a couple of years. I see Cam completely different though. The guy is incredible and nothing like Griffin. I think Cam is a traditional pocket passer.

Also, you described the Hawks defense. The Hawks have the best secondary in the game. And their DL is tremendous. What you described is what i see the Hawks do all the time. I think they can hold the Skins to under 20 points. And believe it or not the Skins run defense is very misleading. Teams have been able to run on them, they just have decided to abuse their pass defense. Lynch and Wilson will run right through it. Thats my prediction anyways.
Whoah... When did you change your mind on that??? The skins are actually pretty bad. They are riding the gimmicky offense to all those wins against bad/struggling teams. The Hawks will be the first real team they will have faced since the winning streak started. I mean Eggs, Boys, Giants, Eggs, Ravens, Browns, Boys is a cupcake schedule(especially when you realize the Eggs only had like 1 offensive starter during that time, the Giants cant stop the run or score, Ravens cant stop the run at all/crippled defense, the Boys had like two starters left on defense in the final game and only had three days to prepare against that dumb offense, and the browns cant stop the run and cant score). These skins are like wildcat Dolphins of 2008. Wont last and haven't faced a team with an actual defense since tebus knows when. Saying that until someone figures out that offense the skins are very dangerous. But imo they are a joke as a whole and the hawks will show it.

A little harsh on Reid man. Although i agree he didnt look as good after 2005 when the Giants and Boys stopped being pushovers he will probably surprise you. Actually the Chiefs will surprise you. I dont think they are that bad. And i think they have a better team than half the league. The QB position kills them though.
Sure you do. I'm actually surprised howmany people are picking them. I thought i was being cool. Going with the hip team. And you are right. They have been pretty bad on the road, but thats mostly because they had a rookie QB. Now with a year under his belt they should be way better. They do have a good defense and running game, which are effective on the road. To be honest the Falcons being at home is the only thing they got going for them. Especially against the Hawks. If i were a Falcon fan id rather face the Vikings. At least their defense can be exploited.

Reid is going to sign with the Chiefs :( i really wanted to see the Cards be competitive. I wonder whats going to happen with Jamaal Charles.
I looked over the predictions and only 3 people picked ATL to make the SB out of 27. And two of those are giant blind homers. 11(maybe ten, might have miscounted) predicted they would win at least 1 game. All others(16) think they will lose to the Hawks\Skins/Vikes. Interesting stuff. Not a lot of faith there. I picked the Hawks to make the SB because the NFC is crazy like that. I find it almost silly to think a top seed will make it to the SB in this conference. I would consider it an upset if the Falcons or 49ers did make it actually. The AFC is boring. The concensus is the Broncos. Then the Patriots. With a couple troll predictions. In that conference it will be one of those teams. I cannot see how any of the other teams can play the WC, go to Brady/Peyton, then go to the other.. No way a team beats both the Patriots or Broncos.

Also, you told me a bunch of OLmen were injured for the Cards??? Or at least you said so a couple weeks ago. Though it is concerning that the Cards havent taken an OLman in the draft in the first round since forever. But they do have a very high pick which can fix that. Kalil did fine, and the Cards could pick someone of his caliber considering where they pick(these guys have to be special to be picked that high). And remember, Reid has the ability to fix QBs. Or at least make them look good. I think thats the best thing about Reid. His ability to coach QBs.
I guess it doesnt hurt as much when you get blown out and never in the game to begin with??

Also dude, with an improved OL and better QB play the Cardinals should be waay better next year. Meaning the NFC West imo has become the best division in football. Dont be surprised how good the Cardinals are next year. If they get Reid or someone to improve the QB play they should win a bunch of games. Michael Floyed has gone under the radar but he is a beast. Just sayin since they were my pick to being the Seahawks before the season started.
You quitter! And where is that compassion for the Giants??? If it werent for that pass interefence on barden against the eggs they would have won 20-19!!! You biased monster. 10-6 and in the 'offs. Damn eggs strike again.
Our schedule next year is looking rough.

Saints (x2), Panthers (x2), Bucs (x2), AFC East, NFC West, Packers, Redskins

    :(
Dude did you see Romo crying??? I was tearing up a little too. This was exactly like last year. Except they got swept by the Skins this year. But really this one was way worse. Last year they got blown out, the game being close for like 5 min, but this year he had a shot to win it and loses the game on an INT! Just sad. Im starting to like romo. Not the yearly Boy hype, but the QB. Though i do find it funny that he leads the NFL in INTs. Lets hope he gets traded.

How confident are you in the Falcons ability to beat MIN,WAS, and/or SEA?
Is Abraham any good against the run? Is he only in passing plays?

I'm not that confident in the Falcons man. I think im joining everyone else.
    Dunta and Abe hurt

BUT GOOD NEWS: We lost today. We haven't lost consecutive games with Matt Ryan in ever... so this could mean a playoff win xD
What happened in the ATL game? Did the starters play? How is the South division going to end up with a Panther win? I mean, who will be in third/second place in the rankings. I care because I DO NOT WANT the saints in next years' schedule. Giants won, meaning if the Skins win the Giants end up second. But a Cowboy win places them third. So are the Saints second in the division? Because im rooting for Dallas.

Also meaningless win for the Giants. Lets just hope it dowesnt save Killdrives job because it was the same thing all year. Start hot but choke in the second half once teams adjust. The second half offense was pathetic. And this was my worst case scenario.
If the Bears win arent the Giants eliminated?

Also, it seems like McClain is the only CB that can stay healthy
Don't you get tired of how much hype the NFC East gets? So you never saw Vick as a Falcon? I forget what year the whole dog thing happened. Oh yeah, Cam Newton has been awesome the past couple of weeks. And all doing it as a pocket passer. I approve.

I stopped believing in the 4th quater comebacks in the Cowboy game. After that game you could tell if they were going to win or lose in the first quater. Every game was a little different but in general the opportunities to win the game with a last minute drive were never presented to Eli. He always got the ball with 4 minutes left. Which meant instant 3 and out.
When i said "worth the trouble" i didn't mean it as a diss to the Falcons btw. Why not the Cowboys?? Its Texas! Where they are obcessed with football. I can understand Green Bay. Such a small town with such a popular product. When did you start liking the Falcons?

I'm not as hopeful as you. The Giants are a lot like the Steelers, they don't overreact. Which is why they are so succesful. Not sure who will get fired, if anybody. But history tells us Reese(the GM) is not afraid to do so. As this year is eerily similar to 2009. Giants coming off a great season, favorites for most things, start super hot(5-0 then) and then completely collapse finishing 8-8. That offseason saw coaching changes and a lot of FA moves, which are rare for the Giants. So this offseason will hopefully be the same. As to your question, the more emotional fans will say it but the media won't join them that much. Probably talk about his failures but i doubt they call for a firing. Other fans think Coughlin should get fired so that Reese could hire his own coach. Which he does deserve. An argument for that point is that there is a disconnect between the players being drafted and how the team uses them. Which might be true i guess. As Wilson should be a Sproles clone and Beckum was never meant as a blocking TE. More like Hernandez.
Yeah but now the injuries are way too much. With Canty out thats 4 DTs and any depth the Giants had at the position done for the year. Plus Amukamara is also out, meaning two of the starter CBs are done leaving a struggling Webster as the #1 CB. Then Phillips, the second best defensive player on the team will not play... Again. Tuck, who has been injured all year, might play for a couple of snaps if he is dumb enough. So yeah, i had hope in the offense but i doubt they make any drastic changes(which they need) and Eli will probably throw for around 120 yards and be held under 50 compl percentage. There is no way the Giants win against the Eggs. Right mow they are the better team as the Giants have no offense and only two good defensive players playing.

Last time the Giants went 8-8 they got JPP and their D coordinator fired. So this offseason looks promising. Although my problem with the team is the offense not the D.

How expensive are ATL tickets?? I think only Cowboy tickets would be hard to get. I could have gone to most Charger games for 5 dollars but decided not to since other than the Broncos they didn't play anyone worth the trouble.
This is me going into this weekend against the Eggs:

Anyways, i was in San Fran all week. Didn't get to watch any games this year :( what are the odds that the 49ers and Raiders would be away that weekend? Next year i hope i can watch both Peyton and Eli. Have never seen a Giants game. Haven't seen Peyton as a Bronco yet. Let's hope the Giants play Raiders at Oakland because i can't stand San Diego.

Also didn't i tell you?? How the Giants didnt have a passing game? They failed to adjust which is what you see right now. How was your holidays(if you are a yew)?
I think we sit them but hope we play them for the whole game. Dont want to lose this momentum
We're so cool, we get the last monday night football game on a SATURDAY!
