Dragon, even though you're sad because the peace effort was useless (and tbh, it was) I admire you for being the first one trying to sttle this crap once and for all.
I suggest you take a look on this. BA VS BS isn't the start of the conflict. It's just another phase. First it was PLC, then Zombachu and Pippy.

Well yeah I can understand both sides as TRC wants a merge or else nothing really changes at all, but BABA people don't want it because it would be kind of awful/insulting to lose everything and join their enemies. Ughhh... I like the idea and I kinda with we just had one completely separate supergroup, but that means we lose everything we have worked for in the past few months.
Are you leaving TRC? Jk I'm sorry I get where you're coming from. This merge was a good idea and if it pulls through I'm gonna be really happy to make new friends. Thank you DragonBorn!
Why are you leaving TRC? We like you here, and personally, I'm for the merge, but there's no point in just ditching us. Losing your membership in TRC would really suck, DragonBorn, as then who would me and hathater have rap battles with?

But so far it's pretty evened up between a flat-out merger and a simply joining pathways. In rough estimates 25% opposed to a merger, 25% supports a merger and 50% is neutral.
Your peace thread looks fine, I don't know why BattleStar's so concerned about it, there's no controversy going on at all, in fact all that's happening is just people giving an opinion of what they would like to see, nothing more.
Please don't tell me that BattleStar's definition of controversy, confusion, and crazy ideas is just opinions being thrown around. ~_~
