  • Well, the Swift Swim ban and Speed Boost Blaziken ban are two different things. Swift Swim as an ability is banned as a whole on Rain teams, while Blaziken is banned as a whole, because with its Speed Boost ability it's broken. However, Speed Boost is allowed on other pokemon such as Ninjask. I don't think that allowing Blaze Blaziken back in OU would be a good idea. Think about it; if we allow pokemon into lower tiers without their "broken" abilities, where will that lead us? Dragonite in UU without Multiscale? Excadrill in OU without Sand Rush? And what about banning "broken" moves while we're at it? Darkrai could become OU without Dark Void, Tornadus-T could be OU without Hurricane, etc. See what I mean?

    Basically, Smogon prefers not to ban individual aspects of pokemon, due to unnecessary complications that would arise with it. Instead, we ban things on a much larger scale; individual pokemon or abilities from an entire tier, for example. So saying the Swift Swim ban is applicable as an argument for unbanning Blaze Balziken isn't that valid.
    I would really like to see Rain get banned. I personally feel that it's extremely over centralizing and arguably a bit overpowered. You HAVE to prepare for it (often several times over) if you want to survive against it, and it's just so abusable and common that it's rather dull, nowadays. They keep trying to weaken rain by taking away their main abusers, but its power still exists. Heck, Rain was basically the point of the whole Keldeo and Tornadus-T suspect test. I wish they would stop trying to work around Rain and just deal with the issue up front.
    Well, if he doesn't participate, there's no point in being in a social group in the first place. That's why they're called SOCIAL groups, right?
    Because i am not so interested in social groups. If you want me to be in your group without being active then fine, otherwise it's fine to kick me.
    Dammit you proved me wrong !!! That Kyurem sweep was fabulous ^.^

    i think i should knock myself one
    While I don't really think that Donphan is a "good" spinner, I do think it deserves C rank. Then again, I also think Hitmontop deserves the same. Oh well, many top players disagreed with me so it's not really worth arguing.
    Mostly, you'll see a set like this, so there is a low chance of it from sucessfully hitting Heatran/Tyranitar/Magnezone etc. hard enough.

    Kyurem-B
    Ability=Pressure @Leftovers
    Lonely (EVs: 56 HP/ 216 ATK/ 236 SPE)
    -Subsitute
    -Ice Beam
    -Dragon Claw
    -Fusion Bolt

    Well its true that he is great when used properly, I mean most pokemon work GREAT when used properly. Mostly, without the right coverage, most pokemons will wall him. Even Zekrom is better than this guy.
    Not really, Haxorus doesn't get weakness to Stealth Rocks, which is cool and awesome. He also has access to a reliable boosting move, which Kyurem-B doesn't get. Kyurem-B doesn't get Earthquake, which sucks because Kyurem-B will get walled by the likes of Tyranitar, Heatran,Magnezone, stuff like that. Now, Haxorus' sprite is badass, and one shouldn't overlook him. I mean seriously, with JUST one Swords Dance boost, lol you better watch out. Its even STRONGER than Kyurem-Bs overall power, and Haxorus will litterally, destroy anything with its Godlike power.
