Not including Mega Pokémon, there are 69 so far, though I have to assume there are 70 because no one has found this gen's "pixie" Pokémon yet (i.e., Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, etc.).

That's what I thought I heard... Unfortunate... Though I assume that the game's have not been hacked yet, correct? So we don't know about events or other possible hidden details, like the "pixie," right?

Right, so there could be any number of other Pokémon, but the Legendary Trio master was 718, so unless they seriously messed up the order, it's not looking too good...

Yeah... I just hope that there are enough pokemon I haven't been spoiled on left for me to discover personally. That's what I really want out of these games; being able to see a pokemon and think "woah, what's that!?"

I'm not sure if you have discovered this one yet, but the Pseudo for this gen is AMAZING, imo. There are definitely some really cool ones this time around, not even taking into account the megas.

Well, I really have done a fairly good job at avoiding spoilers so far, so I can't say that I know about the Pseudo. Good to hear there is one, though. Personally, I was hoping for a Fairy/Dragon Pseudo, but if it is as good as you say I can probably handle it if it isn't that type. (Don't tell me if it is or not)

I won't, of course. But yeah, there are a few GREAT ones and a few duds like every gen, but on the whole I think this will be a great game.

Well, even if there are a shortage of new pokemon, that's probably fair considering the introduction of Mega Evolutions (it seems like there's a lot of them...) and all the fantastic other stuff their adding. I'm looking forward to a great game and a very interesting metagame.
