Of course, they are not as numerous as the Smogon analyses, first, because Nintendo only has one official metagame (VGC) while Smogon has many (NU, RU, UU, OU, Uber), and secondly, because the VGC is, as you have noted, very centralizing and thus having less viable Pokemon.

The VGC section of Smogon is under the Nintendo Formats forum if you haven't already known. It is messier than the analyses pages and the other forums, mostly because they do not focus that much on VGC compared to nuggetbridge but if you think you can contribute something awesome and groundbreaking to it, that would be the place for you to start.

And do not forget: Try to have fun. Smogon's priorities are not notability, but to create an enviroment that allows competitive playing - for fun.

I am aware of Smogon's VGC sections, but they are not a priority. Smogon doesn't respect VGC due to its apparent flaws. But instead of avoiding VGC, Smogon can take it more seriously which may prompt GF for balance fixes .

Yes, fun is most important. But, why not have fun in official games instead of simulators? You guys opt for simulators because you find them more fun than the actual official game - that's a red alert to show that the game needs improvement.
